Darius was extremely easy to work with. He returns phone calls and emails promptly and exhibits a true interest in all special requests. He actually learned a couple of songs we wanted played (on the pipes and Irish whistle) at my father-in-laws funeral. His professionalism and talent are unparalleled. He somehow managed, in the blizzard of Feb 2006 to show up from New York to New Haven Ct. 30 minutes early. I would not think of hiring anybody else. Thank you Darius Curtis Tapp New Haven Ct

Darias' performance was by far the most touching and memerable part of our wedding. He was able to fill in last minute so we were able to keep a very important promise to our son Frankie. When he played the special lulaby we requested I had goosebumps, it sounded even more beautiful than I had remembered. There was not a dry eye in the place. He was amazing. I can't say enough. Darius was excellent. He was a wonderful part of my wedding - everyone commented on how terrific he was, and how much he added to the ceremony. He was very easy to work with, allowing me to select music over the phone - a distinct advantage for a busy bride. He played exactly what I wanted, including Ode to Joy, which he had never played before. He also made helpful suggestions and provided feedback to ensure that I selected songs that would convey the joy of the occasion. He was charming with the children in my party, he looked great in his tartan, and he was absolutely reliable with a minimum of contact and fuss -- very highly reccomended!!! Thank you Darius!!!!

Darius was very pleasant, willing to learn special requests, untiring at playing for an extended period. He was dressed appropriately and unfazed by the possibility of rain. The only misstep was a bit of confusion on our meeting place for the start of the procession, and that could have been my error as much as his. A great experience!

Our bagpiper, Darius Kaufmann, was amazing. He fulfilled all of our requests and even had some great suggestions, to improve our day. I would personally reccommend Darius to anyone who asked. He was prompt, polite, and professional. He played everything we asked and anything our guests requested. Our guests are still talking about what a great job he did.

Darius was a fabulous addition to our wedding! The guests loved him and some even broke out in a jig. He was a perfect touch to our ceremony and cocktails and was easy to coordinate with over the phone before the event. I never once had to be concerned about whether he was doing what he needed to that day. Highly recommended.

When I got to the church, I was told that Darius didn't have his kilt and asked if we could delay until the kilt arrived. I was surprised that a hired musician would ask to delay MY wedding ceremony and proceeded as planned. I was told that either way the music would happen, it would just be whether or not he would walk down the aisle to meet us and lead us out. When we got to the end of the ceremony, we turned around and there Darius was, with the kilt on, and marching down to get us! In the end, everything worked out and Darius was fabulous- everyone enjoyed the recessional.
