The St. Charles String Quartet was amazing and made our event such a pleasurable experience. They played such a great mix of both new and classical music and everyone at our party raved about the music. We will definitely be using them in the future and many of the individuals in our group plan on hiring the Quartet for their own events.

The group was absolutely fantastic for our wedding. They worked very will with our venue to coordinate the timing of the processional, and were very experienced in their practice. All of the guests commented on the quality of the quartet.

The St. Charles String Quartet played throughout all components of our Aug 19 wedding (cocktail hour, ceremony, reception), and both we and our guests were extremely pleased and impressed with their repertoire, energy, and overall talent. Since the group is extremely busy, they are not always 100% responsive in the weeks leading up to the event, but will ultimately meet music requests and event schedule. There experience and professionalism also shines through in final conversations and in-person interactions. I strongly recommend the St. Charles String Quartet without hesitation.

Wowed the crowd from beginning to end. Their ability to play both the classics and modern tunes kept the diverse audience engaged. It was a difficult environment to play in but the St. Charles Quartet's professionalism was on display as they didn't let that affect their performance. Highly recommended.

Really not much we can say that others haven't already. Showed up on time, performed great, accommodating, and professional. I'm writing this review some 7 months after the event to avoid any knee-jerk reactions after a big event. I can still say that I am glad I picked St Charles and would recommend them to anyone needing a quartet in the metro DC area. My only regret is not getting long enough to enjoy the music. You are so busy that you tend to miss things like this. The guests, however, were delighted.

My guests loved these guys! Excellent music and large repertoire. We asked them to play classical songs for our ceremony and pop songs for our cocktail hour. They did an excellent job! I highly recommend them for any event. My only complaint was that it took me awhile to hear back from them when I contacted them a few weeks before the wedding. This made me a little nervous, but otherwise they were great!

wonderful performance. no drama. on time and very professional. did everything i asked. made for a perfect wedding. they were very comfortable for us, given that we are a same-sex couple and this was our wedding ceremony, and our 20th anniversary.

I was unaware of any issues until the day after the wedding. Waiting to enter the ceremony and during the processional/recessional, I thought the music sounded perfect. After the fact, I learned that the music had been delayed (delaying the seating of guests) because of a lost quartet member, the quartet's decision to amplify at the last minute, and the venue's error of not placing chairs properly. The next day, I spoke with Neil and he addressed every issue, took responsibility, and offered a partial refund. I was very impressed with his professionalism. Everything else was fantastic -music selection, performance, the communication leading up to the wedding, etc.

The quartet played during dinner at our daughter's wedding and they were amazing. They added such an elegant touch to the night. The guest's absolutely loved them. We sure wish they would make a cd so we could listen to them more often. Thanks again for being so accomadating.

The St. Charles String Quartet was wonderful!! They played all of our requests, and were very accommodating with playing inside and outside of the venue. Our guests loved the classic rock and pop music. The best part was also that the band had so much fun playing!! Thank you!!
