Geoff was wonderful. We changed the times of a few events, and he was very flexible with everything. Everyone loved his music choices and we had a full dance floor the entire time. Jeff Davis was the DJ at our wedding this weekend and did an amazing job. He was given very little details about the schedule and was only given about 5 songs and that he can play any requests and songs to get people dancing. Last minute he was given instructions and provided the opening toast and did a fantastic job.
The transitions of our bridal entrance were performed like a pro...which clearly he is.
Throughout the evening he went with the flow and provided humor on the fly that was very tasteful. Our guests all loved the music and the dance floor was packed all night long.
Thanks for making our wedding day very special and a night to remember!!

Jeff was awesome. He came prepared and was very friendly. The musician we hired and our pastor had a couple problems with the sound systems they brought and he fixed it in no time not because he had to, it wasn't his equipment, but because he is very nice and wanted our day to be special. He interacted with our guests extremely well and did a job getting our guests up and moving. He is very highly recommended and we would definately use him again. Thanks Jeff!!!

Jeff was great. No mainteanance, no drama. Had an appreciation for what we were trying to do with our event. My expectation was that the music would be mostly for background and ambiance. To my surprise the dance floor was packed for the duration that it was open! He knew exactly how to keep the energy going despite the audience ranging in age across 20 years.

The volume was a bit loud during dinner, but they did a great job with announcing and taking requests. The only wish was that they had played more new music, but it was probably just too many requests coming in. everyone had a great time!

We hired Jeff Davis Djs for our wedding reception at the Tremont Grand in Baltimore, MD. The reception came off well and the guests were pleased with how everything went, but I had been expecting a little more from the reviews/pictures that I saw on gigmasters. The DJ was professional enough but I wasn't impressed with his formality for our evening wedding. He brought someone with him which he had never mentioned in our correspondance, and who was not dressed for the occasion. The music and announcements were well done with the exception of when the DJ tried to do a sing along to "Sweeet Caroline" which no one was really into, and wasn't on our song list.

We hired Jeff Davis DJs because we wanted our wedding to be memorable. It certainly was but in a bad way. Due to equipment problem, my wife and I walked down the aisle in awkward silence WITHOUT ANY recessional music. In addition, there were several long, awkward and silence moments during the reception because the DJ was slow to react to the end of toasts (in English). DJ offered an hour of free service as the concession. In a nutshell, it was not what we expected and we probably would’ve been better off playing music from an iPod than hiring Jeff Davis DJs. Don't make the same mistake we did. I spoke w/ Jeff later and he did apologize for the tech difficulties.

The client was miserable to deal with from the start. Refused to provide a song request list or event time-line after repeated requests. Yes, there was a software glitch that caused a SLIGHT delay of the recessional music. The "awkward and silence" moments were due to Laura not understanding MANDARIN during the toasts and cake cutting, waiting to re-start the music until certain they were done. The client ASKED Laura to play for an additional hour, the guests were dancing and having a good time, then wanted ALL his $$$ back. When she said no and offered the o/t for free, he reduced my wife to tears with his verbal abuse. What a MAN. I wish I had done this gig. Jeff

Overall great job by Jeff Davis. He was very accommodating and professional. He showed up on time and was no trouble to me or the venue. It should be noted that this is NOT Davis DJs. My venue was concerned at first because of a bad experience with Davis DJs. If your venue has concerns tell them they got the wrong guy!
My only MINOR complaints (and I stress minor) are that Jeff seemed to disappear about half way in and it was only his assistant until the end. The equipment broke down for the last song so we had to use "YouTube" for this. Very minor compliant and I would still recommend Jeff Davis to others.

Jeff and his assistant arrived on time, set up, worked through some thorny technical issues involving on-site equipment with professionalism and patience, responded to requests for music, and blended perfectly into the scheme of the evening. My only complaint is that the evening was over so fast! It flew by, and Jeff Davis made it a wonderful party. I would definitely engage him again for future events.

Jeff had an unexpected family emergency that he warned me about a week prior to the wedding saying that he may be unable to perform but would find a suitable professional replacement. On the day of the wedding, his wife took over and had no skill as Emcee. I had to go up and repeatedly ask her to turn up the music, announce the father/daughter dance, etc. She spoke so softly she could not be heard. She could not read the crowd and was playing depressing 80's music. One of the groomsmen had to go up and basically give her a playlist of music to get the guests dancing. Jeff should have kept his word and found a suitable, EXPERIENCED replacement.

The unexpected emergency was my father's death. Client provided NO song list or event timeline in advance of event despite REPEATED requests. The music played was what was REQUESTED by the guests at the gig. However, the guests danced all night, to include ON THE TABLE TOPS. My total guidance was "Indoor wedding reception for aprox 125 people." A DJ works WITH the event coordinator and/or wedding party to make announcements for events WHEN ASKED to do them, as well as keep the sound at an appropriate level. Most complaints are about the music being too LOUD. But when a Client refuses to provide the required information in advance of the gig, it makes it difficult.

Jeff Davis was a GREAT DJ. There was inclement weather the night of the event and he came extra early to make sure he was able to make it to the venue. Jeff played a good mix of music that pleased every "group" at my event. He even assisted with announcing winners for my company raffle. I thoroughly enjoyed his presence and suggest others hire him for their event.

Jeff was FANTASTIC! He played appropriate music during our event reception and dinner and was helpful in making announcements during for me during the entire event. During the dancing portion of the night, he had every song possibly requested from 80's, Disco, Rap, R&B, Popular line dances, and country.
