Richard Devens is a Wonderful Pianist. He went above and beyond my expectations. He was punctual, and ready to play for my daughters violin all-state Nyssma performance as her pianist accompaniment. Would highly recommend him to anyone who would need a professional pianist to play at their event. Awesome! +++++. Richard was very accommodating and helpful in planning the music for the memorial service for my mother. It took place in an unheated mausoleum and required the use of a digital vs. acoustic piano. Richard advised me on what classical repertoire would work under these circumstances. Over the phone he played some Bach preludes and a Mozart sonata and we made some choices which worked very well. I also had two specific requests from popular music that Richard did not have in his collection and he acquired the music for this occasion. His playing was excellent and added much to the ceremony that we planned.

Richard Devens was fantastic as we hired him for our office holiday party and he played piano music beautifully and he played a nice mix of holiday music and other music that was appropriate for our holiday gathering. Richard came on time and also brought violin player. They played as a duet many classical and more contemporary pieces. The musicians created a wonderful atmosphere for the party. All our guests enjoyed their performance. If we ever have a party of that scale, we would definitely hire them again.
