James did a great job for the Volusia League of Cities Corporate function. He was very accommodating to play according to the schedule of the dinner meeting and the music was the perfect volume and enjoyable to all. I heard many compliments on him throughout the evening. I would definitely hire James again.

Mr. Duchon met with us before the wedding to determine the selection of music. On the day of the wedding he arrived to set up well before the ceremony started and played before, throughout the ceremony and after. Everyone was very pleased with his performance.

I have an aunt that has probably gone to 150 weddings in her life, is highly critical and does not give compliments easy. She said James Duchon was the best wedding DJ she's ever heard. He had just enough personality/energy without making you feel like you were at a club, but still kept 80% of our guests on their feet the whole night. I've never seen a wedding dance floor more packed. We gave him a timeline and he cued everything exactly the way we wanted it and went w/the flow when we changed it up. From start to finish he was absolutely professional. we even met up @Starbucks and he played for us during our first meeting. I would HIGHLY recommend James.

James played and sang our song for our first dance and he did an amazing job, he did not know this song prior to being asked to perform it however it sounded as if he's played it forever, I would highly recommend James and plan to call him the next time I need a guitarist

James performed during the ceremony and cocktail hour at our September 2012 wedding. He was a big hit! Everyone commented on how nice his music was, and he really helped make our day special. He plays a good range of music - from the traditional wedding ceremony songs, to more upbeat and happy songs appropriate for a modern, outdoor cocktail hour. He was very easy to work with, extremely professional and very accommodating of our special requests. I would recommend him to anyone. Thanks James!

Talented, professional, and polite are three words I would use to describe James. He answered all questions and took all requests with a smile, showed up early and was playing before the first guest arrived, and all our guests enjoyed his song choices. Very good performance. I would recommend him to everyone.

James was great!! We played the guitar for our ceremony and it was beautiful and such a perfect touch to our wedding. He was also the DJ for our reception and let me tell you he was off the chain. He played good music and kept the party going all night. He kept us on schedule and directed us through everything to make sure the evening was perfect. We are from Canada and were married in Florida in March 2013 and had to do all our planning from home. James was very professional and accommodating and made the planning process for us very easy. He was easy to get in touch with, courteous and very talented. He even learned and performed a song we requested for our wedding. First of all James arrived 15 minutes late to my wedding ceremony. He was also illed prepared. He did not have proper equipments to accommodate our venue. It was over all disappointing. He didnt bring any lighting equipments that he said he would. Second of all as our DJ he botched our first dance! He didn't even give me enough time to get out of my seat. B the time we make it to the dance floor, we were 20+seconds into our song. He is super clueless! He didn't play the songs we asked him to play he pretty much is in his own little world. Do not hire this guy!

Several problems occurred at the gig which led to the overall dissatisfaction of the client. In my defense, I had no control over many of the issues that emerged. The reasons for my being late include: 1. I was stuck in traffic on the way to Orlando due to an auto accident. 2. Inclement weather 3. Miscommunication with venue staff. There were supposed to be electrical outlets provided at the ceremony site but there was not. The dance floor lights that were used are the same that are pictured on my website. I did my best that I could given the circumstances. The client was not fully satisfied and therefore was given a full refund. Please contact me for more details.
