Mario and the guys were professional, incredibly nice, and ridiculously talented! I hired Trio Sol de Mexico to play at the 2012 AIDS Walk San Francisco Kick-Off Reception and they exceeded my expectations. From the first point of contact, communication was clear and prompt. When the trio arrived at the venue on the day of the event, they set up quickly and were ready to go before we knew it. The music was beautiful, the guests loved the entertainment, and the guys even stayed a bit longer than originally agreed when we had a delay in the next act. I wholeheartedly recommend Trio Sol de Mexico and would hire them again myself any day. Thanks for a great job!

As the last act at our fair, there were not too many folks left, but those that were really enjoyed the music, even getting up and dancing. They arrived on time and in dress (unlike many of our other performers who had to get dressed) and whe it was their time they promptly started. They were very accomodating with songs although no one really asked for anything special.

Trio Sol de Mexico was the highlight of our daughter's 40th birthday party. It became an occassion we will never forgot and always look back fondly. Trio Sol de Mexico are fun, personable, engaging, entertaining and talented muscians and singers. I can never thank them enough for making our daughter's birthday so special and memorable. Trio Sol de Mexico are truly the best!

Trio Sol De Mexico was perfect and wonderful. It was a surprise serenade for my mom's 80th birthday! She loved it, she was surprised, and we had a great time with friends, family, and neighbors at 7 am!!! The Trio and mario were awesome, very professional, and the music was beautiful. I highly recommend them!!

Trio Sol de Mexico always provides over-the-top entertainment, but this time they really out-did themselves. Mario Hernandez and his trio engaged nearly 500 elementary school students and their mothers in beautiful music to honor the mothers on Dia de las madres. The entire community loved the performance. The parents said it was the best Mother's Day celebration ever at our school! It is a pleasure working with Trio Sol de Mexico to book and plan events. Mario is extremely accommodating, understanding, helpful and delightful to work with. Book them! You will be thrilled that you did.

Trio Sol de Mexico was great! They were so professional and punctual. Mario was easy to get a hold of. They arrived on time and everything was perfect. They made my 79 yr. old grandma so happy. They sang songs that she requested, she cried in joy, it reminded her of her childhood. It was simply beautiful all of us moms cried too. It was heartfelt. We also sang along with them. I wll surely hire them again. I will recommend them to anyone in search of a great Trio Mariachi!! Thanks once again for making her day special!! You guys were great!! <3 - =)

We were quite thrilled with Trio Sol de Mexico that played at our open house on May 5th for Cinco de Mayo. There music was fun, light hearted, made you want to get up and dance, (and some of our customers did.) The volume was perfect, never to loud or shrill! They are not the “typical” mariachi band that comes to mind, good for 15 minutes then you wish they would stop playing. The music had a Spanish flair but was modern and quite enjoyable, we did not want them to stop. Mucho thanks!

We had Trio Sol De Mexico for an official event with the Latino Caucus of the California State Assembly. I can only say, that if I ever need another Trio to perform for a work event or personal event, they will be the group I hire.!! They were professional, prompt, talented, friendly, and overall just an excellent choice. Our event was a huge success and they were the hit of the party. I would highly recommend Trio Sol de Mexico to anyone who is looking for a talented group of musicians that will make your event truly memorable!!!

The musicians were very professional. I received a call two days before the event to confirm the time and place. They arrived early and started on time. The music was very good, not too loud. I would definitely use Trio Sol De Mexico at our next event.

We hired them for our Mother's 50th Birthday and they were very accommodating. They had a great repertoire of songs and our guests highly enjoyed the entertainment during dinner. They were on time and very responsive. We highly recommend them.

Customer service was initially great. However the group showed up at the wrong location and then tried to blame me when I had (2) confirmed emails acknowledging the location change due to rain. I was screamed at "what part of I can't find the email don't you understand!"-which is #1 just plain disrespectful to anyone, and #2 not appropriate to speak to a customer like that. I had only (1) minor special request which was to NOT play ANY sad songs and they played probably the saddest song possible-Amor Eterno. They are very talented, unfortunately they are just not good with logistics and details. The performance was great, but I'm not sure it was worth the stress.

We were treated with so much disrespect.We arrived 1/2hr early as agreed. Venitia did not respond to our call until 10min before the start.We realized that we were at the wrong address. Venitia changed the location due to the rain. Venitia continuously talked to me as if I was dumb and stupid. We deserve the same RESPECT that she expects. THE ERROR WAS VERY MINOR. We arrived at the new location within 15 minutes.
Venitia's guest requested AMOR ETERNO. Her guest and Husband were very happy with our performance.
Venitia should not call people dumb or stupid.WE ARE PROFESSIONAL AND RESPECTFUL. READ OUR REVIEWS. I JUST DID NOT ALLOWED VENITIA TO DISRESPECT US.

From the minute you strolled up to our home playing your music, we were impressed. As the hour was coming to an end, everyone wanted you to stay for another hour. That second hour stretched out to approximately four hours. No one wanted the music to end. We feel your music was the magic touch to bringing the party into a circle of fun, dancing and tenderness for the future bride and groom. Your strolling through our different rooms set up inside our house for the Fiesta. Your choice of music was perfect, and the fact that you would play songs we requested, was special for the guests. Your Trio is very professional, timely and attentive.

I can't say enough about Trio Sol De Mexico. My brothers and I are extremely grateful that we were able to both bring joy to our ailing sister and to celebrate the birthday of our niece, her daughter. Their performance was key to our community celebration of my sister's life and the celebration of my niece's fifteenth birthday. Their selection of music, presentation, ability to "work" the room brought in heart and soul. My nephews experienced Mariachi music for the first time. Trio de Sol...WOW...amazing. Mario and his chorus simply lighted up my 80 year-old parents hearts with their heartfelt music, conversation, and choice of songs. Mario has an innate and amazing ability to be incredibly perceptive, intuitive, and endearing as he engages with his crowd. Listening to Mario's choice of songs, he somehow knew the specific songs of my parents' courtship and for the first time in our lives, my siblings and I saw my parents cry happy tears as they looked into each other's eyes remembering fond memories that only they two hold in their hearts. We will never forget the beauty of Trio de Sol's performance...totally lovely and unforgettable.
