Trio Sol de Mexico was great - we had them come play at our staff holiday party and they arrived ahead of time, came prepared, set-up quickly, and were playing a few minutes before their scheduled time. They bring their own mini sound system and played all the favorites and a few special requests. I would highly recommend them for any event or party!

Arrived early and performed well. Everybody loved them and we were very happy with the music. I wish they had been more prompt with returning phone calls and emails in the weeks prior to the event, but ultimately it was not a problem and they did a great job. Highly recommended.

Well, originally I thought I was organizing a Mariachi Trio. When I began getting calls and e-mails from Teresa and Orlando about their Latin Fusion music, I got an even better deal! They were a hit at my high school diversity event, and teachers asked me for their contact information. They also go under the name Mambo Tropical, so look for that on the list if you need these two at your next event! Definitely qualified and professional in every matter. They are the sweetest couple.

Trio Sol de Mexico turned our event from a party to an extravaganza! The gentlemen were professional in every aspect from a timely response to my initial inquiry to the last song of the evening. They have warm engaging personalities that made them more than the entertainment. Sadly, it was the fastest hour of the party and my guests talked about how much fun they were for the rest of the evening. It made my husband's party to have them there. I will admit hiring these mariachis was a leap of faith because I hadn't seen them perform. But they were very professional, and the event went seamlessly. My guests were charmed by the performance, and it was a delight for me. Would DEFINITELY recommend Trio Sol de Mexico to a friend!

Tio Sol de Mexico was a perfect touch to our wedding in Paso Robles. They were on time and ready to perform in our ceremony, just as asked. At first I was a little skeptical about hiring a tio versus a mariachi, however we were extremely satisfied with their performance, voice and professionalism. During the reception they stood front and center rather than walking table by table, which I loved. I personally don't like table by table singing, simply because the voice doesn't project clearly and lively. They were prepared with their own equipment and ready to sing on time. I would definitely recommend Tio Sol de Mexico and rehire them for an event! Thank you!

I highly recommend Trio Sol De Mexico. They played during dinner at our wedding, and everyone enjoyed the performance. They were very accommodating; we were a 1/2 hour late arriving from taking photos before the reception, and they waited for us to arrive and sit down before playing. When I initially contacted them, I got an immediate response. Mario is very nice, professional, and helpful, willing to play your requests and personalize the performance to your desires. Recommend!

Trio del Sol played beautifully for our cocktail reception, but I had a very difficult time communicating with them prior to the event. I emailed and called several times and did not receive any response. I was unsure if they were going to show up because we never communicated, and this was very stressful. We were slightly off schedule the day of and despite my numerous requests for them to play a particular song for our entrance, they left at the end of their contracted time rather than offering to stay the additional 15 minutes (we would have happily payed extra). I was disappointed, and would not recommend them.

We were disappointed that many of the requests they did not know. I had told Mario that the first hour I wanted to have music from Los Panchos and Agustin Lara, but they did not know many of the songs. Also, Mario was on the phone with another group that let me to believe that members of the group were not the original. Many of the attendants mentioned that they were not that good as I had let them to believe. Daniel

I was hired on July 15. Daniel wanted certain songs for his event.I told him to give me the list of songs within the week. On August 18,the day before the event he gave me a list over the phone. Daniel is not very familiar with Los Panchos and Agustin Laras songs. I personally selected the songs we played from these artists CDs. If Daniel was honest he would provide you with copies of videos and photos showing us playing, his guest smiling, singing and applauding us. Mr. Reyes, yes, I was on the phone with another group that needed my help with some information. Mr. Reyes was UNHAPPY because I was not willing to accept another gig at a $200 an hour rate.

We hired as a duo, and they sounded just as good as a trio. They played everything that we requested, and told jokes and involved couples, and sang to them Ect. We hired them for two hours which was the perfect amount of time. This group is actually very romantic and brought back love to the couples that were at the party! They came all the way from San Jose to Napa, so they travel well! The traditional suits and the sombreros that they wore were just the icing on the cake. Mario was great to work with. He always got back to me quickly when I had questions. His group arrived early and were ready when the guests arrived.
