Rich Barry was a pleasure to work with. He was courteous, quick to respond to emails, and accommodating in traveling to our event location and playing our selected music. His overall performance was impeccable and added something truly beautiful to our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. Our guests could not stop raving about his talent and the dreamlike quality his music added to the ambiance. Mr. Barry was an outstanding feature of our wedding rehearsal dinner. He deserves to be showcased in a concert or recital setting and we were fortunate enough to enjoy his performance during cocktails and dinner. We requested some very difficult pieces on short notice (classical and latin/flamenco) and he accommodated them all brilliantly. The groom was particularly impressed with the performance and pleased to have the opportunity to speak with Mr. Barry. My wife and I highly recommend him for lovers of acoustic guitar instrumental music.

Well, I don't know what to say. I booked Rich last Sept. for my wedding. We had a traumatic turn of events with a health issue in the family and had to cancel the wedding. I cancelled in January for a June wedding (over 6 months notice). I followed the contract exactly. He said he would return my deposit of $200 immediately. Several weeks passed and I emailed him. He apologized and said the check was in the mail. Here we are over 6 months and many requests later and I've been told my check was in the mail 3 times. We truly need the money for medical bills. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I need my money back! I will warn everyone never to use him!

My partner and I were to be married in Constitution Gardens in D.C. I hired Rich as a surprise. He did not disappoint. Marriage equality wedding - Rich says OK. Outside in the grass - OK. Saturday morning - OK. Wonderful music - OK. His music is a gift. He helped make our wedding a magical event.

Rich Barry is the real deal in terms of talent and professionalism. Our venue was hosting a live musician for the first time and our members were blown away by the talent in the room. Rich was very polite to our members, and brought a very simple set up for our cafe. We have worked with a wide variety of celebrities and Mr. Barry by far is one of the best ones we have worked with by far! Hire him now. Seriously, or we will!

Rich was amazing! He arrived early and was in no rush to leave. Needless to say he is extremely talented. He effortlessly played the song choices we had given him and after hearing him perform I decided that he knew more than me what would be more pleasing. All the guests mentioned how good he is and the special ambiance he brought to the wedding. I would recommend him to everyone and would definitely have him perform at any other event I plan. Thank you for the CD Rich. I listened to it all the way back on the drive from DC to New York.

Rich was a wonderful addition to our wedding. He was easy to work with leading up to the wedding and made great song suggestions for our ceremony. He is an outstanding musician and able to play a variety of genres. Many of our guests commented specifically on his playing. This is the second time I have used Rich Barry for a memorial service and I continue to be impressed with his talent and professionalism. He is extremely accommodating and was prepared to play all of the particular songs I had asked for, even tho they weren't necessarily in the "classical" repertoire. He was also prepared to deal with the problematic acoustics of the space in terms of his equipment- top notch. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr. Barry for your next event, he is great!

Rich was a very talented performer, his music was spot-on and was exactly what we were looking for in terms of the ceremony. While we weren't present for the cocktail hour, feedback from our guests was that his music was great to listen to. Rich was also super helpful and accommodating with the sound amplification for us in the ceremony, and even worked with our DJ and Zoom streaming consultant for providing direct feeds for the sound from the ceremony. All in all I'd highly recommend Rich for future performances.
