Rich was more friendly and chatty on the phone, not as much in person. Rich is very talented and everyone enjoyed his music. He provided just the right vibe for our whiskey and cigar lounge area outside. I recommend Rich. His prices were very reasonable and he was worth the expense.

We hired three separate musicians for our wedding and Rich was the most professional to deal with, beautifully skilled player, and with whom we were most satisfied. He added the elegance and fun we wanted, with a mix of Spanish, classical, and pop music. He checked in regularly before the event, was responsive to requests. He adjusted his playing to our crowd, adapting to spontaneous toasts and speaches throughout. Brought a great sound system. He is a thoroughly talented performer and accomplished guitarist. We would highly recommend him!

Rich was very polite and friendly when I talked to him on the phone. He worked with my daughter and son-in-law on planning the actual music for their wedding. I think one song was new for him but he learned it with without trouble. He is clearly a professional and a talented musician. All the guests liked the performance before the wedding began as well as during the wedding.

Rich performed at a special corporate function held at the GigMasters headquarters. Since we are in the business of booking entertainment, we wanted to make sure we had a stellar musician to complete the performance schedule for our party. Rich's classical guitar was the perfect choice for our event!

Mr. Barry is an incredibly talented musician. He played flamingo and classical guitar at my daughter-in-law's 40th birthday celebration here in Manhattan and we were delighted with the atmosphere and mood he created. Being a concert pianist myself, I heartily recommend Mr. Barry for any occasion one might want to listen to some really beautiful music.

I would like to start by saying I have never hired anyone off the internet and was very nervous but Rich so surpassed any expectation I had, that I would do it again, or at least I would hire him again! He was incredible! I hired him for a small surprise birthday party at my house. He played exactly what he told me he would and everyone at the party kept telling me how good he was. One of my friends even followed him out the door to get his card because she wanted him to play at her birthday party in March. I really can’t say enough about how professional, accommodating, and accomplished he is- if you are reading this look no further he is truly gifted.

Richard Barry played for our wedding and did a fantastic job - not only were we impressed, but we also received many compliments from our guests. He was easy to work with and we were able to do all the planning via e-mail thanks to his extensive playlist online, where we were able to hear actual samples of many of his songs.
