One of the biggest critics are close friends and the spouse. After Atlantic String Ensemble left, I made sure to ask everybody how was the music. Were the songs good, did they play well, etc... We hired Atlantic String Ensemble for a Masquerade Ball for NYE for three hours. They were also tasked with playing a song for which we had a choreographed dance for. All of the guests loved the music! They matched up the music well with what we discussed and had some fun music in there as well. Our choreographed song turn out nicely, as well - which is what I was worried about as we had been practicing for months! I wouldn't hesitate to rehire them again - just do it! :)

Wedding CeremonyReviewed on April 3, 2016From Los Angeles, CA

Pros: musicians are talented, prices are competitive, had a large availability of songs, and ensemble was willing to learn a new song for the ceremony. Cons: Had the most requests and needed most follow-up out of all our vendors. Told us a week before the wedding that they had to sit in the shade which meant they ended sitting at the back of the ceremony, making them difficult to hear. They didn't have certificate of insurance so make sure your venue allows for waivers.

Wedding CeremonyReviewed on December 30, 2018From Fontana, CA

The band played really great and I loved how they accommodated to my request of what song I wanted to walk down the isle to. My guest enjoyed the music they played before the ceremony. But during my Catholic wedding, they only were only able to play music for my entrance, breaking of the bread, communion, flowers to the Virgin Mary, and exit. It wasn’t a lot of music played during the ceremony which was kind of a bummer because there are usually more songs played for Catholic ceremony’s. The priest had to recite the songs they were not able to play. It honestly didn’t seem worth the money for them to only play about 5 songs once the ceremony began.

If I could give less than a .5 on professionalism, accommodating, overall satisfaction and recommending the Atlantic Strings, I would. As the client, vendor, planner, sister to the bride who hired the Atlantic Strings-I was very disappointed by the professionalism of Ellie. Having 675 characters is not enough to explain. I would be happy to go into further detail if needed. Horrible communication, lack of professionalism, then bad mouthed to the other vendors who I have worked with for years. I have been in the industry for over 20 years and worked with many, many vendors. Never have I come acoss such a unprofessionalism in a vendor & owner of a company,

They NEVER SHOWED UP to my wedding nor pick up any phone calls. They shattered my dream of having live music at my wedding. I can't believe this happened to me. It’s been 2wks since wedding but I'm still deeply sad about it and I will be for a while. I booked 6months earlier and paid in full. Their excuse was they got the date wrong. Hard to believe because we communicated til 2days before wedding. Date is on their own gigmaster page. I can't believe the level of their unprofessionalism. How can they be this irresponsible and ruin the most important life time event? Please look elsewhere to hire professional & ethical musicians who will show up to your wedding.

Very professional and talented. Wonderful experience finding and booking. Would have liked a couple more special requests, but they were willing to do one at an extra charge, which was great.
