Hats off to Ellie and Brian who were willing to travel and play at our wedding held in a small, remote town in eastern California. They arrived early to setup and get situated. All of the arrangements for music and breaks were discussed via email in advance, so my husband, guests and I could focus on enjoying the wedding and not worrying about the details. They were very professional, and I would highly recommend them.

Atlantic Strings played at my wedding ceremony and they sounded absolutely gorgeous!! It was the perfect addition to my wedding and they even accompanied two of my friends as they sang one of my favorite arias and they did it perfectly! They were sooo sweet and accomodating and they made my wedding day that much more special. I highly, HIGHLY recommend them for any event that you might need a string quartet for and I would hire them again in a second.

This was my first time hiring an Ensemble for a party. The occasion was my parent's 30th Wedding Anniversary. I really appreciated the fact that Atlantic String Ensemble arrived very early to set up and prepare their instruments. They were very kind and patient and extremely professional. Their music made a huge difference in the reception, providing a comfortable ambiance. You didn't hear the clattering of utensils against dishes and loud converations amoungst the guests. It was perfect! The variety of music played was great...from the Beatles "Yesterday" to classical Bach "Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring". I HIGHLY recommend Atlantic String Ensemble!

I really appreciated just how professional and warm Atlantic String Ensemble was. Due to the sensitive nature of the event (my grandmothers funeral), I was so impressed with just everything about them. The email communication before hand, how easy it was to book them, their ability to adapt to a last min request in music, and just how beautiful they sounded.
I would book them again in a heatbeat.

We engaged the Atlantic String Ensemble as a string trio to play at our father's birthday party dinner. It was a pleasure planning the musical accompaniment with Ellie Bunker, who was courteous, professional, and calming throughout. The musicians arrived early, were wonderful to interact with, and played just beautifully, including many selections my father had requested.

We hired the duo for our small wedding. The feedback we received from guests was very positive. In fact my mom said she thought it was recorded music she heard prior to entering the chapel, before realizing she was listening to live musicians. They played our requests beautifully. I look forward to viewing the video so I can hear them play again. Although I was not able to meet them in person, Ellie was very pleasant to work with through e-mail. I would certainly recomend them to a friend.

I did not get a chance to meet our trio but they played beautifully at my wedding. When I walked down the aisle and they started playing Cannon in D Major, I started to cry. It was exactly how I had envisioned. I am very pleased with their work. I heard that they arrived on time, set up quickly and started playing for our guest. I also received many good reviews from my family and friends who heard them play prior to the wedding. I would defintely recommend them!~

Not just professional, but personable. They beautifully arranged a Brahms choral to accompany our church choir specifically for us. The members of our congregation were very pleased. We will definitely call on the Atlantic String Ensemble again.

Brian and Ellie Bunker are amazing and affordable. My only regret is that as the bride, I did not get the pleasure of actually meeting them in person. They were friendly, and kind, and the played 2 of my special requests with such excellence that it brought tears to everyone's eyes. I am more than pleased with their performance and will recommend them to my friends without hesitation. Thank you so much Brian and Ellie- you were completely AMAZING!!!!! I could not have imagined it to have been more perfect. You completed our ceremony and we are truly greatful.

The performance was more than we could have asked for. Very Talented and able to create beautiful music that made our event succesful and fully met our expectations. We would have preferred more verbal communication with Atlantic String Ensemble to assist us in our early planning vs. more reliance on their part in communicating with e-mail. While we recognize the importance of documenting communication, we feel that communication via e-mail is not enough to assist clients in clarifying expectations and having a meaningful exchange of ideas in which the performer can also make recommendations that can assist a client. Though in the end we were very satisfied!
