I am very grateful to have had Andrew Monohan play cello at my birthday party. He serenaded myself and my guest for 3 hours! When I entered he played "Happy Birthday" and "Isn't She Lovely" on his amazing sounding cello. One of my guests really appreciated how Andrew played "Unchained Melody" from the movie, "Ghost." My wife Carmen and I were very fortunate to have worked with composer / cellist Andrew Monohan and singer Bree Clarke. Andrew composed an original song upon my request with his lyricist and had it arranged for synthesized band. This song called “Happy Anniversary Carmen” chronicled 50 years of happy marriage . Andrew played cello and Bree sang 25 cover songs along with the original song. Bree’s voice is lovely. Andrew contributed to the arrangements of Bree’s cover songs very well with his cello. Andrew and Bree are great performers who know how to entertain and satisfy clients’ needs. We were very happy with Bree and Andrew and will recommend them to our friends

I hired singer BreeClarke and cellist Andrew Monohan to perform at a holiday party in my apartment yesterday. They were incredible! Bree’s voice was a perfect companion to my party as was Andrew’s cello playing. I especially enjoyed “0 Holy Night,” “Hark the Herald Angels Sing,” “Chestnuts Roasting on a Open Fire” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.” Bree and Andrew are great entertainers. I will have them back again next year for sure.

Andrew and Bree performed brilliantly at my house yesterday, Bree sang famous holiday tunes and Andrew accompanied well on his cello. They both performed together a one hour Christmas holiday song presentation. It was organized by myself, Cheryl. I am invited my whole family. This concert was a great success in my heavily decorated living room in Queens. Bree and Andrew are outstanding musicians. I love the way they entertained us. Their equipment is outstanding their professionalism is superb. I especially loved the Celtic voice of Bree singing Greensleeves as well as the American staple "Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire."

Andrew and Bree did an amazing job for my dad’s funeral. Andrew was an amazing on the cello and Bree Clarke’s vocals were unbelievable. They were professional, timely and accommodating. My father’s favorite song was a Sarah Brightman tune that they knock out of the park. I highly recommend them both.

Andrew was a fantastic addition to our wedding. Planning a wedding long distance can be stressful but Andrew was so easy to communicate with and I knew everything was going to be perfect. We had 2 special songs which Andrew learnt for our wedding and these were perfect, a really special addition to our day. We couldn’t have asked for more and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again if I’m ever back in NY for an event. He was so friendly and approachable with all of my guests and I had so many guests comment after the wedding how fantastic he was and what a lovely person he was to have at the wedding.

Andrew is an outstanding professional cellist. He arrived early, helped me set up, was so accommodating about the timing of things and staying late. He is an incredibly talented a cellist. The guest of honor is a huge classical music fan. She was very pleased with him! She even sat right next to him the whole party! I could not be more excited about connecting with Andrew on a professional and personal level. He is a great person, a very strong solo performer, and an absolute joy to work with.

Andrew was very professional from start to finish. After reaching out to him, he responded back right away, explained the booking process, provided a song list, and was accommodating throughout. After booking Andrew, we sent a list of selected songs, received booking confirmation from him, and a final, pre-event confirmation email. While I was occupied with the events of my wedding on my wedding day, multiple family members confirmed that Andrew arrived to the ceremony early, played a full set, handled special ceremony instructions in a satisfactory manner, and stayed afterwards to physically shake my hand before departing.

I hired Enki and Andrew (cellist) for my ceremony and cocktail hour. Not only were they amazing musicians, they were incredibly professional. Very punctual, great communication skills, and extremely hardworking. My guests are still talking about what an amazing job they did. They we able to accommodate us for an intricate song to come down the aisle to and they played it so beautifully! I would highly recommend them to anyone getting married or for any event. I look forward to hiring them again in the future for anniversaries and other celebrations! If you want top notch performers that will wow your guests, look no further than Enki and Andrew!

Andrew was VERY accommodating and eager to please. He was a hit at the party, and a real gentleman, which is important to us. He went the extra mile to get his ticket for transportation the day before, did not leave it to chance on the day. He arrived very early, which is one less thing to worry about when hosting a party. He was friendly and very professional both in demeanor and appearance. The guests were really pleased and enjoyed his talent. Andrew also took very little break time, just continued to play. I could not be more pleased, thank you Gig Masters and Thank you, Andrew!!!!! Would hire him again for any future events!

Andrew Monohan is an accomplished cellist. Several individuals in my family play stringed instruments and sing; including myself. Andrew accurately played the songs he performed and he did it with great feeling. Andrew arrived well in advance of the wedding ceremony and he was well prepared. Andrew was fantastic. He auditioned for my now wife and I over the phone, and we asked him to learn a few songs which he again played for us prior to the wedding so we were super comfortable knowing he was going to be great. The day of he was very early, very professional, and made our ceremony even more special. The cello is the perfect instrument for a wedding, and Andrew could not have been better. Here are the songs he played for us to give you an idea of how diverse he is: "The Rose" "The Lion Sleeps Tonight." "Penny Lane" "Eleanor Rigby" "This Year's Love" by David Gray "Bach Prelude in G" Definitely do not hesitate to book Andrew, he is fantastic!

Andrew played audition pieces over the phone to assure we would be comfortable with him and his talent. He worked hard on a special number for us (not in a typical cellist repoitoire). At our ceremony at the Ladies Pavilion in Central Park, his pre-wedding music had to compete with a large festival warming up. As the officiant let me know "he was more than holding his own - lol" He played beautifully and then continued while photos ensued afterward. So nice to have his cello music in such an intimate setting in a large park. I would recommend Andrew for anyone seeking a cellist. Just specify what you would like or ask him for suggestions.
