Nate was such a great addition to our daughter’s wedding!! Talented musician, very personable, and punctual! He went right out into the marsh in order to be in the perfect spot - and we didn’t even ask that of him. Would absolutely hire Nate again for any family celebration ??

Nate Silva was punctual and began playing immediately upon the funeral procession arriving at the gravesite. He stood and played under a large oak tree nearby, but not to close to the burial site to be distracting. He also played several Irish and Scottish songs that I had requested. He was very professional and the family and friends agreed that it made the occasion very special.

Nate was a STAR at our daughter’s very rainy wedding. Not only is he a gifted bagpiper that provided the perfect atmosphere as guests arrived and departed from a century-old stone chapel, but he even pitched in with umbrellas to keep the bride dry! I feel so lucky to have been able to book Nate Silva to play at my daughter's wedding. He surprised her and her new husband as they left the Church after their wedding ceremony. The performance was a surprise and they both had tears of joy. It was a special moment that none of us will ever forget. It was a very cold day in Gloucester and Nate still managed to play beautifully. He even came back inside to play in the Church while we took pictures. We hired Nate to "pipe in" all the guests for the rehearsal dinner held the evening prior to our son's wedding. All of the out of town guests were invited, asked to celebrate "The Gathering of the Clans" as the two families joined together. I could not recommend Nate more highly! He communicated via text until the week prior to our event, then we had a detailed call to ensure we were aligned on our vision of the event. Nate delivered everything and more. He was GREAT with little kids and adults alike. I have already recommended him to the venue and to my family members. I'd love to have Nate come to another family gathering! Nate was above and beyond his professional courtesy and performance for the Memorial Day program we had.
He set the tone from the beginning- the audience did not know this was a part of the program so it was a surprise in a way and everyone was deeply touched, with many having tears in their eyes and a hand to their heart for his playing was truly beautiful. The addition of him playing TAPS was remarkable. Thank you, Nate and I look forward to being able to hire you again for our future veteran events.
