Superb piper. When I put in a request for bids, he took the time to call that same day and discussed his approach to playing at a graveside service. That call helped me make my decision. And at the service, the beauty of his playing took us back to our childhood in Scotland and made such a fitting send-off for our mother. I highly recommend Duncan Moore.

Duncan Moore was professional and experienced, so he did not need much direction in providing music before and after my daughter's wedding mass, which was so helpful. His music and professional demeanor added the perfect tone of love, seriousness and sentiment as our guests were arriving, and certainly a bit of celebration and accomplishment as he led them out of the church! Duncan played for my mother’s s funeral and added the perfect atmosphere for the occasion. His sense of when, where, and what to play were all perfectly on point. While that was a somber and formal affair I have no doubt he’d excel in other events. Thanks Duncan.

We were grateful for his guidance as he has so much experience performing at Arlington National Cemetery. Everyone who attended the memorial service commented on how lovely the bagpipe playing was. Duncan made the graveside experience for our family so meaningful and memorable. Since my husband already had "honors" performed at his service in TX. Arlington National Cemetery does not repeat them. We were devistated to hear that news. Our service was very simple, but so incredibly meaningful as Duncan did all anyone could to make it the most meaningful and respectful finality for our family. Forever grateful ????

Duncan was AMAZING! From the moment we contacted him he was responsive, professional and overall so nice! He assisted with the suggestions of songs and gave examples for us to listen to prior to the event. On the day of the wedding he came early to practice and scope out the venue. He was the highlight of my sister's ceremony and even stayed for a few pictures at the end. We highly recommend his services to anyone for a wedding or special event. We booked Duncan to surprise our son and daughter-in-law at their rehearsal dinner. Duncan was very quick to communicate, coordinate what songs we wanted and even made a recommendation for a more uplifting version of Highland Cathedral. He drove from Baltimore to Alexandria on the absolute coldest night of the year. He was a big hit because the bride’s family is from Baltimore. Duncan even played a couple more songs. His timing was perfect and the look of surprise was well worth the extra coordination.

Duncan was punctual and professional. I had my hands full with other tasks, but Duncan needed zero prompting or help with his role, allowing me to tend to the things in front of me. This was the first instance of working together, but I would certainly recommend.

Duncan was absolutely amazing. He made my father's funeral incredibly memorable, my dad would have loved it. He was able to play a big variety of music, and when we didn't have specific songs picked he had a more uplifting range of songs he suggested. Communication was prompt. He was on time. After his part in the ceremony he assumed a position outside and played as people mingled, it was great. He was so wonderful to work with. would highly recommend
