My experience with Owen was wonderful. He planned the music for the wedding ceremony and reception with ease. He played 3 1/2 hours of excellent music with wonderful sound accoustics that pleased virtually everyone at a wedding reception for 100 people with ages ranging from 18 months to 90. If you are looking for a musician for a function that you want people to enjoy, have fun and laugh and have a good time, then you can put your complete trust in Owen Poeteat. I promise you that you will be pleased with you decision to have him play at your function.

Owen was great to work with. He communicated with me during the planning period before our wedding, made helpful suggestions, was on time and prepared on the day of our wedding. He played classical songs during the ceremony and had an extensive play list for the reception and dancing. Would definitely recommend Owen.

Owen was such a treat to work with and his talents are wonderful. Everyone enjoyed him and asked me alot of questions about him later. Owen is a wonderful person and excellent performer. He took care of everything and perfect music was one thing I didn't have to worry about on my wedding day. Everyone loved him, from the 2 year old to the 82 year old - everyone danced and had a great time!

When we booked Owen we were a little bit aprehensive, since we had not heard him play.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES COULD WE HAVE PICKED A BETTER MUSICIAN FOR OUR WEDDING RECEPTION.

Owen Poteat is one AMAZING, TALENTED, DEDICATED, CLASSY guy. Everyone at the party and myself included was very happy and impressed with Owen. I wish I can have events every weekend so Owen can come over and play. I would highly recommend Owen for any event and will tell as many people about him. I joined his website www.owenpoteat.com, so I can follow up on him, and watch him make it to the "Big Time" due to his talent. Owen was a saving grace! My original musician had cancelled 3 weeks prior to the wedding. I entered my bid into Gig Masters and received a call from Owen immediately. The guests at the reception commented how much they enjoyed his music- laid back to fun, music from 70's to today. I would definitely contact Owen again for my next event/party.

My little 4 year old niece loved him most of all. Owen allowed her in her little show girl way, to sit beside him while he played.
Owen played a song that my nephew could sing to us. My nephew is a a formal entertainer on a music scholarship and the two of them (Owen and Tyler) performed the most beautiful song together...without any rehearsal!
We were honored to have Owen their. He is the greatest!!!

Owen Poteat was an absolute answer to prayer. I contacted him at almost the final hour... thus giving him little time to prepare. Without hesitation he accepted the invitation to play for our rehersal dinner and as part of the entertainment for the wedding. He was able to learn the song I requested for the mother/son dance within one week... and did it "perfectly". He was able to appeal to all ages and all taste of music. I would reccomend him to anyone, not only for his talent ...but because he is an absolutely delightful gentleman.
My mother's 80th birthday will be this August and I definitely will be requesting Owen for our muscial entertainment.
Thank you Owen for bringing the word "perfect" to our evening.
