Everyone is still raving about how awesome Owen was at our wedding! He played a FANTASTIC show. He arrived very early to set up in 3 locations and played our entire wedding LIVE from soft acoustics for the prelude & ceremony, to the first dances, and all throughout the reception. He had our dance floor FILLED! We still have people going out of their way to tell us it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to, and we have Owen to thank for that! TRUST him completely -- he has a great process, and get ready to have the most amazing wedding ever because of him! My venue coordinators were so impressed they’re calling him for their future weddings! Owen is the best!

I hired Owen to play during my wedding ceremony even though the venue had piped in music available. I am so happy I did. He arrived early, was set up and ready to go even before half of the wedding party. The venue included a DJ service for the reception but I had Owen cover before, during the ceremony & cocktail hour. He was so inntuitive during the parts of the ceremony I reguested he play. I got huge praise for having chosen him. People loved lt. "Man, I could have just listened to him all night" was repeated to me many many times.
He added so much to the whole evening and walking down the aisle to his music is part of my wedding I will never forget.

Owen was fantastic! He was a pleasure to work with and really listened to our music requests. He provided music for both our beach ceremony and the reception. He is not only a very talented musician but was interactive and fun with the crowd. Guests all loved him and were all extremely impressed with his music! He made our wedding truly amazing! Cannot say enough!! All guests, wedding party, and resort staff were so impressed! He can play anything, is very talented, and plays a mix that all ages can relate. Several wait staff mentioned they hear a lot of performers but he was the best they had heard. Mr. Poteat was very accomodating to the wedding toasts and introductions and went above and beyond. I will definitely book him again!
Since the dinner I have been inundated with inquires of him, where I found him. All were amazed that every song was performed well. His performance made the rehearsal dinner truely memorable to all.

Owen was absolutely fantastic. He was incredible to work with and did an amazing job for my beach wedding. He learned new songs and performed all of them beautifully. Owen was fantastic!!! He played for our daughters lakeside wedding ceremony and for the cocktail hour prior to the reception at Magnolia Manor 30 minutes away. I don't have enough superlatives to describe what a great musician he is. He was perfect and learned every song we requested. Additionally, he is a super nice guy to work with. I hope I have the opportunity to hire him again for something! HIGHLY recommend!

We used Owen Poteat for our wedding on May 18th and could not have been happier with him and the performance. His talents exceeded my expectations and would definitely refer him to a friend for parties or a wedding. He is a true musician and loves what he does and it shows in his performance. We had a family reunion dinner party at the beautiful Jefferson Hotel in Richmond VA on the night after Thanksgiving. Owen Poteat took this lovely dinner to the level of extraordinary! Owen's music and singing had all the relatives on the dance floor, from age 7 to 75.
Everyone told me they could not believe how much dancing the group did. Owen was very good-natured about playing requests as well as his own music, and he "brought the house down" with many of his numbers. Owen arrived early and played late, without even a break. OWEN IS AWESOME!! We hired Owen for our wedding rehearsal dinner. We had great food, great drinks, and great company, but Owen was certainly the highlight of the night. I am a musician (guitarist) myself, and can tell you first hand that Owen is INCREDIBLY talented. It was impossible to keep people off of the dance floor! As musically talented as Owen is, he is equally as professional and accommodating. We were having such a great time, we asked Owen to play for another hour after he was supposed to be finished. He was so easy to work with, and everybody at the party was raving about him!! Owen gets our highest possible recommendation. SIX STARS OUT OF FIVE!
