The Starlite Steelband created an amazing atmosphere for the beach themed surprise retirement party that my siblings and I threw for my parents. The band was extremely friendly, polite and performed amazing music that all of the guest complimented on all evening long. It was a true joy to have such tremendous talent at our party!

The band was the perfect entertainment for our pool party and campout night. We felt like we were on a beach and loved every minute of their music. We especially enjoyed the Abba songs they performed.
The only thing I would say then could improve on is their social skills. After they were done, they packed up their equipment and left and I didnt even get to say good-bye and thank them.
Otherwise, the night was a huge success!!! Thanks so much.

Starlite made it feel HOT,HOT.HOT, on a very cold day. We hired Starlite for our wedding reception in Feb 09. it just so happened that we were hit with a snow storm around 4pm, making it very difficult for out guest and the band to travel to Brampton, but they made it and although things ran behind Starlite played for 2 hrs without thier break and it was amazing. This is one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. I was especially pleased with the professionalism of the entire band always making eye contact and smiling with the audience. If you want great steel pan music then this is the band for you.

Starlite Band added character to our already famous McHappy Day here in Brampton. They came from out of town and accommodated all our customers music needs.

I had a great experience in working with the Starlite Steelband. They are very talented and really made the event special. The band was very professional, accommodating, punctual, and exceeded our expectations. Many wedding guests commented on how delighted they were with their music and it created a wonderful atmosphere. There is no doubt this is one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.If you are looking for a steel band for an event , we would highly recommend Starlite. They even impressed our friends that play the pan drums themselves. They were professional, accommodating and most importantly friendly.

Starlite Steelband was amazing and so very professional. They were hired to play for my outdoor wedding ceremony and during the cocktail hour. The weather was somewhat questionable when they arrived for their set up so we decided to have the ceremony indoors, after they set up indoors the weather cleared up and we asked them to move outdoors they were most accommodating and very happy to do whatever they could. People are still complimenting us on the music and how good it was. Starlite was absolutely amazing, I would definitely recommend them to everyone!

Everyone at the wedding loved them. It was amazing, people begged them to stay for more songs, when they were packing up to leave.

Excellent band. Everyone was very happy with the music - laid a perfect groove for everyone to socialize and feel happy.
I was not impressed that the band packed up at 11:15pm when they were hired until 12 midnight. Fortunately my computer was in the next room so I showed them our contract - then they set themselves back up again. To their credit they did not sulk but played another 45 minutes very well - however, this should not have happened.
However, overall their music was awesome and laid a wonderful vibe for a very successful party. Depends what you are looking for but Starlite were perfect for our party.

Starlite Steelband played at the cocktail reception part of our wedding. They did an absolutely fantastic job. Not only was the music lovely, they all looked professional in their co-ordinated outfits. They were particularly accomodating when our guests started to turn up early. Our reception and music was to start at 5pm, but when they saw everyone arriving early, they quickly set up and started the music. So many people commented on the music and how fantastic the band was. Highest recommendation.

I was very satisfied with the outcome of the entertainment. They made us feel that we were all in the carribean. From the time that I booked them, till the end of the evening, they were an absolute pleasure to deal with. They did not inconveniance us what so ever. My wife's 40th birthday party turned out to be a large success due to the incredible sounds of this talented band. Thank you so much and I look forward to one day using Starlite again.
