Wendell and the Starlite steelband were the perfect choice for our wedding ceremony and cocktail reception. They were prompt and professional. Everyone complimented us on the song selections and sound. They were amazing!!!

A terrific band. They are wonderful people and musicians. Wendell was prompt to respond to me anytime I would contact him on the weeks leading up to they party. They arrived early to set up and stayed late when we asked them too last minute. Everyone was enjoying them so much we just had to ask if they could stay. Thank you Starlite for making our party SO fun and memorable!

The members were very friendly and professional. I appreciated their kindness and allowing students to try the drums. I had hoped to have more of a black history component to the presentation - more talk as to the history of the drumming and connections to Black history.

They were very professional. They arrived at our venue in the morning to make sure that they new where to be in the evening. They are very talented and all through the evening, people came up to us commenting and complimenting the band. I would highly recommend them and we for sure will call on them again for our next barbeque.

I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience hiring Starlite Steelband for my mother's suprise 60th birthday party. Everything from booking to coordinating the final details was a smooth process. Wendell and Andrew arrived on time and only took a few seconds to set up. The party was in my parents' backyard and their performance was a lovely touch to the night. Their music wasn't too loud or intrusive ... it was just right!!! My guests were thoroughly entertained and loved every second of it. I would hire Starlite Steelband again in a heartbeat! Thank you so much! You guys made my mother's birthday that more special. They were early to set up. The bride and groom loved them as did the guests. Their professionalism was outstanding. They were polite and easy going people who were a pleasure to meet. I have never hired a steel band before and from my first contact from Gigmasters when I read all the reviews it was great. Wendell from Starlight called to speak with me on the phone and I was at ease knowing he would not let me down. We had several emails which were promptly returned. We can not say enough about Wendell and his daughter who performed it was an excellent and outstanding evening. We would highly recommend them for any occasion. Gloria Sherwood

Wendell and his son Andre performed for our Father's 90TH Birthday Party.They arrived at the designated time and set up quickly. It was an outdoor event and extremely hot and humid.They are true professionals and talented musicians.I would highly recommend Starlite Steelband. My Dad phoned to say what a wonderful time he had and is enjoying their CD. Dad could not resist getting up and dancing to the wonderful music. Our guests absolutely enjoyed the pan! Starlite showed up early to set up and really knew how to entertain our guests. They were well dressed and very professional. I felt as ease during my planning with Starlite. Wendell always responded to my e-mails with direct answers and in a timely fashion. Our guests only had positive comments about their performance! Wendell and Jennessa Claxton performed very well. They are very talented upon the steel drums. They were very accommodating to last minute scheduling adjustments. The only improvement they could make was for Wendell or Jennessa to give a little bit of commentary upon the occasional song etc. and have a little more interaction with their audience.
