Carolina has the biggest warm smile and plays with emotion , she played the songs we agreed with and we did some requests that she did beautifully. We hired Carolina for our wedding on October 4, 2024. Carolina was professional, easy to communicate with and accommodated all of our requests. She was even able to play our requested first dance song! Despite the weather being not ideal (unplanned and non forecasted storm), Carolina kept playing through the rain. We had so many rave reviews from our guests and it made our special day even more special. We would recommend Carolina to anyone looking for a professional and talented violinist for their event! We had our Wedding AT Pillar and Post in Niagara on the Lake, and Carolina was the violinist at our ceremony. Carolina was AMAZING! from the moment we booked to the moment she played - Carolina was extremely responsive, helpful with the song choices and accommodating. Carolina is so talent !!!! I was BLOWN away when I walked in to her beautiful music. I would recommend her to everyone. So professional & talented - there is no better violinist for a wedding!!

Carolina followed up promptly with all of my requests. Her emails were professional and well worded. When she was unfamiliar with a specific song, she made sure that she would play it, even if reading from sheet music. It was, however, difficult to hear all the songs played because guests were mingling and talking amongst one another. She could have used an amplifier/microphone to project the violin's sound while playing. I would have preferred her to walk among the guests, while playing the pieces she was able to play without sheet music.

Hi Helene, thank you for your review. It was a pleasure to perform for your daughter's wedding! I would have been happy to accomodate your request if you had let me know before the event. Playing from memory and strolling is something I do perform with pop contemporary and top 40 covers with backtrack sound system. Since you chose very specific repertoire (by Puccini, Brahms, Smetana, Monti etc...) not very often performed in cocktail hours, it is atypical to perform this way. Though I didn't actually get to meet her on the day of my wedding, Carolina was very professional leading up to the wedding. She answered all my questions promptly and arrived on time on the day of the wedding. Her playing was great and set the perfect tone. I woukd definitely reccomend carolina for any soecial event!
