Stephanie was great! She performed for our ceremony and cocktail hour. She was very easy to work with, communicated through the whole process, and her music was amazing. Absolutely would recommend for any wedding or party!

Birthday Party (Adult)•Reviewed on December 6, 2020•From Bronx, NY

Stephanie was amazing from beginning to end. I booked her for a surprise birthday performance for my girlfriend. It was my first time doing anything like this so I was pretty nervous but she worked with me to make everything perfect. Everything was done virtually due to COVID. My girlfriend was so surprised and loooooved the performance. Stephanie even sent a video of the performance for us to watch over and over again! Thank you so much again for helping me bring this vision to life.

It was a pleasure helping you create this moment. Thank you for trusting me to do this for you both.

Private Party•Reviewed on December 25, 2019•From Fletcher, NC

I communicated with several musicians when I initially planned to book someone. Stephanie was the clear and easy choice due to her professional, prompt, and in depth response including references, accomplishments, and videos that showed her abilities as a musician and performer. This performance was for a small gathering of my family and neighbors at our home. Stephanie communicated extremely well prior to the event including a conference call where we discussed what kind of format I wanted. She arrived on time, ready with all her equipment. She put on an absolutely amazing show including classical and holiday songs. Her personality was as great as her playing was.

:

This was the best Christmas Caroling party I've ever entertained at. Wonderful and fun family!

Wedding Ceremony•Reviewed on November 12, 2019•From Columbus, NC

Stephanie and her Cellist, Katie, preformed at my ceremony on Nov 9th. Their performance was beautiful and their timing was perfect! Stephanie interviewed us to get a feel for our musical taste. She sent us a collection of links of her playing several different arrangements so we had a good idea of what we liked. Our ceremony was outdoors and the temp was low, which can be damaging to string instruments, but we provided outdoor heaters and they were able to play beautifully!! We are very happy with our decision to book Stephanie!

Stephanie could not be more awesome - even when our bride was 30 minutes late for her vows! Stephanie handled the unexpected and unanticipated delay with professionalism. She played beautifully and everyone enjoyed her vast repertoire. We were very fortunate to retain Stephanie. She was kind enough to share her Mother's Day with us!

Funeral•Reviewed on March 12, 2018•From Old Fort, NC

What an incredible violinist. She played for my mom's funeral and I was in awe. I'm sure my mother was smiling from heaven. She opened with Ashokan Farewell - it was amazing (even better than Celtic Woman). The ministers and many guest commented on how beautiful the music was. Thank you Stephanie for making her memorial so special! Leslie

Stephanie was absolutely wonderful. She was Professional and accommodating. Shes an incredible artist who took our vision of the way the wedding ceremony music would go and made it a reality. We asked for a specific version of two different pieces be played and she nailed it. We would recommend Stephanie to our closet friends and family.

I stumbled upon Stephanie Quinn after a little hiccup left me scrambling for a ceremony musician. And boy am I glad Stephanie was still available! She is so sweet and accommodating. She truly cares about making your day as perfect as possible. She was there throughout the whole process to make suggestions and offer her professional opinion without being pushy. And as far as her talent goes, you will not be disappointed. Thank you, Stephanie, for making my day that much more beautiful.

Wedding Ceremony•Reviewed on September 14, 2015•From Boone, NC

Stephanie was an incredible performer and handled every curve ball we threw at her, playing pieces she had never before played and fulfilling all the Bride's requests. She was as professional as she could be and, more than that, she had an intuitive feeling for the spirit of the occasion and just flat out knocked it out of the park. She contributed so much to the success of the event with feeling and sensitivity. If you are looking for a top flight musician for your event, do not hesitate to use her, she is the answer to your needs. Thank you Stephanie, we are fans!

This was an especially fun wedding to work on. The vision this Bride had for her wedding was so creative and it was a blast collaborating with her!

Sweet 16 Party•Reviewed on November 2, 2013•From Crystal Lake, IL

Got feedbacks from guests. I was busy being the mom of the birthday girl. Stephanie accepted another gig before our event thus she ended up starting late and in a rush. I requested all black outfit and to my surprise she was in a beige cardigan. I expected a continuous performance but there was a gap of about 2 minutes per piece so that totals to a lot of dead air in between the 2-hour contract plus a 10 minute break which was required after 50 minutes of playing but really they started 15minutes late. They played well being professional musicians and played our requests. Not happy with the dead air and being late especially this was for reception music.

:

Search YouTube 'por una cabeza monacquinn' to view proof of false wardrobe accusation. The 2 of us obeyed contract 100%,with a 6.30 start-time. I arrived at 6,in my chair at 6.15. What started as simple background music, became a tightly choreographed 'Hollywood' production, fitting client requests w/a choir, w/a 16 part cotillion dance, you name it.Emcee approached @ 6.25 w/a contradictory sequence, causing 8 minute delay. We turned pages between songs, not 2 minutes as accused. Live musicians are not machines; if client wants seamless music, use a DJ. We,the Monacquinn Duo,put an uncompensated 25 hours pre-production work,& went far above the call of duty on this job.

Stephanie is a joy, a treasure, and most definitely worthy of 5 stars! My husband and I deeply appreciated her amazing talent, which she so graciously lended to our 10/12/2013 wedding ceremony. She is professional, communicative, and insightful. She played the prelude, processional, and recessional music at our ceremony, all of which created a joyful atomsphere, in addition to treating us and our guests to a concert-worthy classical performance! Stephanie truly made our day wonderful, memorable, and uniquely ours! My husband and I could not have imagined a contribution to our event as beautiful and perfect as the one she gave us. Much gratitude from Sarah and Sean!

I was very pleased working with Stephanie from start to finish. Personal and professional, I found her easy to talk to. She took all requests into consideration and used her professional judgement when necesarry. My guests are still telling me how much they enjoyed the prelude music they heard, while awaiting our ceremony. Each musician showcased wonderful talent. I would recomend Stephanie whether you are looking for a solo performer or a small esmemble, she will deliver!

Working with Stephanie was tremendous. Stephanie is extremely professional, and kept in close contact with me until the day of my brothers wedding. Her performance was flawless, hitting every note perfectly and producing full sound. All of my guests really appreciated her performance during the ceremony and cocktail hour. Her talent truly set the mood, and made the evening elegant and classy. So happy I chose Stephanie to perform at my brothers wedding. I plan to use Stephanie for my next elegant affair.

:

I wish to mention here deep gratitude to the many wonderful people like Mark, I had the pleasure to work with here on GigMasters. To be a high caliber full-time free-lance musician means we spent our childhood in a practice room followed by dedication and financial sacrifice as adults. We musicians appreciate the professionalism and respect of reading, signing, and abiding by our contract agreement. Making music is my job. Imparting beauty and expression is my joy! Thank you all!

Wedding Ceremony•Reviewed on May 20, 2013•From Munster, IN

Talking with her before the ceremony was the easy part. She seemed excited and willing to do whatever we asked. The day of the wedding? Terrible. She kept emailing my bride about the weather (worrying her violin would be cold and it would rain, and threatening not to come). We had an outdoor ceremony, but it was entirely covered. It was 72 degrees and not a drop of rain. The chance of rain for the entire day was only 20%. Why she decided to complain to my bride the day of our wedding I have no idea, just to be difficult I suppose. SHE WAS LATE on top of it. She definitely played beautifully once she finally arrived, but too difficult to deal with otherwise.

:

I was excited about this Celtic ceremony!I have a precious concert violin; it's tone cuts through wind/distance wo/amplification! 2 days before this job I began to dread it. While in traffic, client informed me in an unscheduled 'consultation' the wedding was outdoors 'somewhere' on the grounds! I reminded him our contract specifically states I don't play uncovered by rain; he offered no specific location or coverage. Forecast was 80% rain at wedding hour so I did try to get exact location & assurance I'd be covered--no response. Due to accident on I-94, I arrived 3 minutes before the hit, played immediately. To compensate, I performed past the contracted stop time.
