School AssemblyReviewed on November 12, 2018From Portland, OR

The band was fabulous! They were very easy to work with and enthusiastic about our event. They accommodated everything I asked for and they played beautifully! I will definitely hire them again for our future protocol events. The students also really enjoyed the band. The interaction between the band and the students was amazing! Thank you for making the night better than we could have hoped for!

Wedding ReceptionReviewed on December 19, 2017From Portland, OR

Amazing talent, song selection and MC skills! They played most of my favorite songs and even accommodated some requests from my guests. Thank you for making our wedding that much more memorable. I will definitely hire the Kansas City Rhythm Kings again! They bring old world charm and class to any event.

Wine Tasting PartyReviewed on October 23, 2017From Sherwood, OR

Everyone had a grand time, and had a great time with the musicians. Our Wine Club Members thought this was one of our best parties ever.

Wedding ReceptionReviewed on October 9, 2017From Portland, OR

The KCRK’s have an AMAZING sound which set our wedding apart from all others! They’re very talented and were very professional. They concluded their set during our speeches and nobody even heard or saw them slip away. I would certainly recommend them! My only criticism is that we specifically asked them to play any song for our grand entrance but when we walked in, it was absolutely silent!?? They began to plan a minute or so later which was disappointing and awkward. Also they took 2-3 minutes between songs with is apparently normal but left an awkward silence during dinner. Still worth it for the price and sound.

:

The wedding planner asked us not to play during the ceremony which was outside. We were inside and were wait for the wedding planner to tell us when to start. No wedding planner. We started playing as soon as we saw them enter at the far end of the venue.

great group. I would have liked a little more showmanship and crowd engagement. Really great players, they arrived a little later than i thought, but they were still very much on time.
