John was a pleasure to work with. We spoke on the phone a few weeks before our wedding, as he played during our cocktail hour (1-hour) of acoustic music. He played our selections and took some of our song ideas and even put in some I hadn't thought of. Although we did not get to hear his full set (we were busy taking photos!), our guests thought he was a great addition to the day. He was on time, set up, was professionally dressed and, of course, very talented. His sound was perfect for the porch area during our cocktail hour on Cape Cod.

We had a small house party to celebrate a milestone birthday. It was a fun, casual event. John played a great variety of music that everyone enjoyed, and danced to as well. John is very talented and was the perfect choice for our event.

John was the perfect addition to our party! He was very accommodating with music requests and professional from start to finish. He was on time and played for the entire duration of our event. Our party was supposed to be outdoors, but due to weather at the last minute we had to move it inside. John was very flexible with the last minute change of plans, and although the indoor space was not ideal, he made it work and sounded fantastic. All of our guests had wonderful things to say, and the live music created a very festive and fun party atmosphere!

John is talented, professional, and accommodating. John Demers played at our outdoor private party - we and our guests could not have been happier. We even had to reschedule the entire event due to rain and he made sure he was still available for us on the new date even though it was a last minute change. John had a fantastic variety songs; and played something for everyone. John was very easy to speak with and communicated quickly. On the night of the party we hired him for, he showed up on time and performed amazingly. He brought his own equipment and even offer to let us borrow it for speeches. The crowd really enjoyed listening to his music. Very happy to have found him on GigMasters, and would hire John again.

John was great to work with! He offered suggestions when we were stuck, was able to accommodate all the songs we asked for, and even changed his set list a week before the wedding per our request. Having him sing and play was a wonderful touch to our ceremony that you can't get with a DJ. I would definitely recommend John for any wedding ceremony.

I was very happy to have John play at my father's memorial service. He was very professional. He made sure to contact me a couple of times before the event to work out the details. He was very respectful of the event and of my guests, choosing appropriate music and playing at just the right sound level to create a calm and relaxed atmosphere. I would definitely hire John again.
