We hired Mike to play at our wedding, and he was phenomenal in every way possible. He was communicative and accommodating prior to. He has a lovely personality that puts you at ease and has you liking him before you even get the pleasure of meeting him. His experience in the field brings consummate professionalism to your event, and all this praise is before you even get to hear the music. Mike transports you to a time when music was an art form. Your guests, regardless of age, will be entertained and transfixed, and you will receive nothing but awe and compliments. The only thing more I can say is I wish the scale to rate Mike went to a 10!

Mike Hudson and Invite were just right for our sorority party in the Hollywood Ballroom at the Westin Bonaventure in Los Angeles. Mike is smokin' hot, and his renditions of songs were absolutely perfect for the parents weekend. I loved all the band members, each and every one were professional and played fabulous music. It was a great time had by all, and we plan to book him again for certain!

Mike Hudson and Invitation were absolutely fabulous for my parents 40th Wedding Anniversary party. We were so pleased with there performance! They arrived hours before the event, set up and were ready to perform as guests began arriving. We will definitely hire the band again for future events. We recently booked Mike Hudson and the Invitation for our wedding. During our planning, Mike stayed in contact with us the weeks prior to our event as well as accomodated several special requests for our wedding. However, the best part of Mike Hudson and the Invitation was their performance. AMAZING! A DJ will never compare to live music at a wedding. These gentlemen will add a touch of class and a memorable element to an already memorable day. I highly recommend Mike Hudson and the Invitation for any special occasion.

If you truly want to impress your guests, hire this band! They had four generations of friends and family on the dance floor all night. It was so much fun and so classy people still have not stopped raving about the evening. Top-notch musicians and a pleasure to be around. They are worth every penny and more!

We (bride to be and I) basically asked for Mike to do what he does best; only had a couple of requests for our wedding...He was absolutely perfect for what we had in mind...Nice, elegant, the perfect professional...The band was looking sharp, and played sharper! My wife loved his voice and personality, and kept the pace of the reception throughout the whole night! Had many people ask me about Mike and the band, and will recommend Mike to anyone!

The band was just fantastic, an absolute hit with our guests! The trio played earlier in the evening, then he brought on the big band for after dinner dancing. He played a variety of great songs, appealing to our diverse audience.
Mike was very easy to work with and eager to make our event special-which he did.

Mike kept in contact up to the day of the party, showed up early to setup, started on the dot, and wowed our crowd. These guys are experienced polished musicians with a great sound and an easy relaxed manner. I'd hire them again without hesitation.

They are great performers and true musicians. Their music would put your special event together and I am sure your guests would be impressed by them like ours were. They are also very friendly and kind. If you like the good old Jazz kind of music, they are who you would want.

The music was very good. However, Mike is a terrible MC. I knew this when I hired him since I spoke to a few people who had used him. They all thought the music was wonderful...good dinner music; but he was terrible with names, even when coached. When I requested specific music, even in his genre, he couldn't do it. If he is used for a wedding, my suggestion would be to hire an MC as well. J

We were concerned at first that Mike might be too big a presence for our holiday gathering of 65 guests for a holiday cocktail party in our condominium. Working with us, a drum machine replaced the drum set, and back up consisted of a keyboard and electric bass. The guest list included several professional musicians and Hollywood mogul types. Mike was perfect. He and his sidemen arrived early; they are thoroughly professional, talented musicians. They accommodated every request. I will use Mike again and have absolutely no reservation whatsoever in recommending him to you.
