Ptarmigan is an Award-Winning, experienced String Quartet that includes violins, viola, and cello. We perform music for special events in the Denver/Boulder area. Our musicians have many years of experience and perform a very diverse collection of music --- from Classical to Contemporary. Play- List choices, in lots of genres, are available upon request. Depending upon time and expense, a special request may be possible. Our services follow COVID-19 guidelines and protocols of the State of Colorado, CDC, and local cities and venues. We hired Ptarmigan String Quartet to play during the ceremony and cocktail hour. Vicki was really easy to work with and went over our wedding song selection several times before the event. We gave her a general idea of the style we wanted and she had a long song list to choose from, including a large repertoire of Jewish songs. She went over all the details with our officiant and planner to make sure the timing was spot on. Everybody really enjoyed their music and had a great time!

The Ptarmigan String Quartet is among the best decisions we made for our wedding day. Victoria was absolutely excellent to work with, highly organized, and made the process of selecting music and arranging our ceremony easy, fun and personal. Their vast repertoire & willingness to learn and supplement with new music requested by me, was so honoring. The service they provided was beautiful & brought tears to my eyes. Their willingness to work within the constraints of the venue, their professionalism, and their skill is truly indicative of their business excellence.
