They played beautifully and did a great job. However, some of the things promised via email when I first contacted them, like arriving 30 mins before, they insisted they did not need, finally they explained they had personal event to go to. Although it's understandable that personal things do come up, a 30 min buffer before the guests arrive is not that much to ask for especially because it was a new venue, they insisted multiple times that all they need was "15 minutes" to setup and I had to push back a few times to get a portion to come earlier as they had agreed to in a previous email. 15 minutes setup time is not something I was comfortable having.

Emily was wonderful to work with from the beginning. We had very specific musical selections in mind and she accommodated all of our requests. Emily and her team arrived on time the day of our wedding and performed exceptionally. The string quartet was absolutely beautiful-- a perfect complement to our historic venue. Our guests are still raving about how incredible the music was, and though I never got to meet Emily in person (though I did yell "thank you!!" across the gardens while they were leaving/we were taking photos), I am so grateful to her and her colleagues for making our ceremony everything we hoped it would be. I cannot recommend La Bella Musica enough!

LaBella Musica was absolutely fantastic! I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for a sting trio/quartet to play at their ceremony. I booked LaBella Musica 1 yr and 3 mos prior to my wedding date. Emily Chen provided me a quote right away and we talked through all of the ceremony details ahead of time to ensure I had the perfect number of musicians playing in my venue space. She was so great throughout the entire process, asking me detailed questions (ie uniform attire, queues so the trio knew when to play certain music). Their play list is also very impressive. They have pages of songs, both classical and non-classical to fit any wedding style! BOOK THEM!!

La Bella Musica was outstanding -- they were able to accommodate our requests at high quality but cheaper than anyone else we found. They were a little slow to respond to emails, but they were incredibly professional and responsible about all the payment and transportation details. We couldn't have asked for better accompaniment for our Block Island wedding.

Emily was always very friendly and eager to meet my needs and requests during the year I was communicating with her. Bella Musica arranged a song for me free of charge and their timeliness in arriving at the ceremony was perfect. They are one of the best string quartets I have heard and I am so thankful that I was able to book them for my wedding. I would highly recommend them:)
