WeddingReviewed on April 12, 2008From Los Angeles, CA

We were in a bind the week of the wedding since we did not have anyone booked to play the ceremony. We found the International String Trio online through Gigmasters and I was thankful I received a very quick response from the Director, Slava Tolstoy. He was very helpful through this whole process and we were pleased with the result. I would recommend them and this site!

Birthday Party (Adult)Reviewed on October 15, 2012From Monterey Park, CA

They did a really great job. I was very pleased. All of them were very nice and well mannered. There are a few things I would have preferred. I would have like to see them in a more uniformed attire. I would have like there music sheets on stands rather than the floor. I would have liked them to have a sound system to project their music. In the end, the group was very talented, friendly and charming. I received many compliments on them. Yes, I would recommend them to a friend. Thank you.

Wedding CeremonyReviewed on January 10, 2011From Santa Barbara, CA

Our Wedding: PROS + Very receptive to custom songs. Learned and performed 2 unique songs + for us (we provided sheet music and a small fee) Excellent performance + beautiful job with both their library of songs and our new requests + Nice people, easy to communicate with CONS - Bit of a conflict on the day of the event due to very tight scheduling. Ended up a non-issue, but was a concern - A bit expensive compared to other options - When originally booking, we thought we had booked a trio, but was in fact only a duo. User error on our part, had to add another performer (increased the rate) but just a note so others don't make the same mistake

WeddingReviewed on May 24, 2008From Solvang, CA

We will start with the positive. International String Trio showed up early and were professional. They learned a song that was played during the ceremony and was sung by a vocalist. It was a simple song, and sounded lovely in the setting. We really appreciated their efforts with that. Our disappointment with them was due to a very long (and slightly awkward) delay when starting the processional- Canon in D. Considering this is the most important part of the wedding and one of the most commonly played songs, we were frustrated that it wasnt a smooth transition and we were kept waiting. For their price, we expected more. Cocktail hour was nice- but nothing special.

Club EventReviewed on June 24, 2018From Pleasanton, CA

Well, this is a hard review to write. I booked the group that appeared on gigmasters, what I received was an entirely different group. They were good, showed up on time and the audience liked them, however I felt a little bait and switch. I was provided an updated photo for marketing which was completely different than what was on gigmasters, then only one of the members was in the photo provided. It needs to be clear what group you are getting, as I did not get what I had asked or paid for. The lower ratings is the representation on gigmasters and not the musicians. They fit the bill, though I was booking an A level talent and that isn't what I received.
