The Amherst String Ensemble made our day extra special. We asked for custom arrangements for both our processional and recessional songs, and they were not only willing to try but able to deliver. They sounded wonderful and exceeded our expectations. I strongly recommend this capable and talented group of extraordinary musicians.

The Amherst Ensemble exceeded our expectations. They added the highest degree of elegance to our Wedding. They conducted themselves in a very professional manner from start to finish. The music was beautiful and we receive many compliments from our guests. All of the music played during the wedding ceremony were songs we chose, so they were not part of their normal repertoire. Even so, they played them flawlessly. During the cocktail hour, they played from their normal repertoire and we were pleasantly surprised by the breadth of selections they played. We highly recommend anyone looking for a reasonably priced ensemble to consider the Amherst Ensemble.

I think the communcation, planning and day of the wedding all went off without a hitch. I did find it best to try to schedule an appt rather then just trying to call and connect. Avaiability was difficult but worth the wait. Excellent performance and everyone enjoyed it. The musicians were talented and personable. They looked as professional as they sounded. thanks for making the day special

Always professional, Amy is responsive to any and all requests and is happy to learn any special songs requested by my couples. Charlie Ampicella and his trio were absolutely phenomenal! They played music for our ceremony at the church as well as our cocktail hour at the reception site. It has been over a week since our wedding and guest are still raving about the music and the mood of the entire wedding.

I really liked working with Amy and the group was very nice looking and professional. They were put up in the balcony at the church and that was unfortunate because getting the cues was not easy as they were hidden from view. That decision was out of our control. We apologize about that. Their sound was excellent: bright and clear. My only constructive criticism would be that the music did not flow. There were clear stops and starts at the reception, but I think because of the mixup in who was actually going to play at the last place, in all fairness, I don't think they could be 100% prepared. I would just emphasize that they communicate well with themselves.
