Jaimie was FANTASTIC for our Lake Norman island party! Her music really transported our guests to a happy, festive mindset. Her set up and breakdown was quick and we appreciated her openness to execute our party vision. She was very accommodating, arrived on time (even a bit early!) and was flexible when we asked to extend our play time. We are so happy Jaimie/Island Shores is now in the Charlotte, NC area and we look forward to hiring her again and referring to our friends!!

Responsive with e-mail communication prior to event. Pricing fair and clearly laid out in contract. Seemed to genuinely enjoy her craft. We had an outdoor lake party of about 20+ guests in the 40-50 age range. Played for 3 hours with two short breaks. Engaged guests. Highly recommend.

Jaimie provided excellent music and a fabulous Caribbean vibe for our poolside 50th birthday party. She provided a song list ahead of time, was extremely prompt and professional in communications and planning. She was so good at the party that we asked her on the fly to stay for an extra hour. We agreed the fee on the spot and she didn't miss a beat! She played Happy Birthday for cake time and timed her breaks at convenient times. A pleasure to work with and highly recommend!

Jaimie Shores played for a tropical-themed worship service at our church. She and I collaborated on the worship service and music choices. She stayed after the service to demonstrate her instrument and answer questions, and to socialize with the congregation. Our church members were impressed with her talent and gifts, and enjoyed getting to talk with her. We all hope we will have the opportunity to invite her back for another worship service!

We used Jaimie this past weekend for our ceremony and cocktail hour at our barn wedding. I was receiving compliments about Jaimie all night! Everyone thought it was such a unique and cool idea, and about how good she was!! So happy we decided to go with Island Shores! Jaimie was also very understanding of the stresses of wedding prep. We decided late in the game, approx a week before, to get a steel drum player and she was so wonderful to deal with even with the extreme short notice. Highly recommend! It was awesome :)
