My (now) husband and I saw Eric perform at a bar in Ellenville and after hearing is extensive repertoire of acoustic classics we just HAD to have him sing at our wedding. Eric played during our ceremony and cocktail hour. We requested he play Elton John's "Harmony" which he didn't know and not only did he learn it, he NAILED it for the big day. He set such a wonderful tone for our cocktail reception too. Our guests just couldn't stop talking about him and asking us where we found him. Not only does he have a beautiful voice he is just a pleasure to work with and his song recommendations and selections made our day special in so many ways.

Unfortunately, being the bride, I wasn't able to hear all of the wonderful songs that Eric played during cocktail hour. However, I heard nothing but amazing things from other people about him. He played during our ceremony as well and did a really great job. He was very easy to work with, funny, and accommodating. I would love to hire him for another function in the future and would gladly recommend him to anyone.

Eric played for our wedding after party in the fall. And he was wonderful.
1.He is a total professional. He is easy to get a hold of and he listens to your questions and concerns. I never had to chase after him, and he was quick to reply with paperwork, concerns, etc.
2. The performace: Wonderful. If you are looking for a smooth sound, Eric is it. His guitar-playing is spot on. He plays the classics beautifully, and he has a vast, comprehensive catalog.
Our guests loved Eric, as did we. We sang along or just sat back and enjoyed...I would hire Eric all over again.
I would hire him all over again.

We had Eric Erickson sing for a party at our house and we couldn't be more pleased. His voice and his guitar playing are beautiful. Everyone loved the songs he performed and we could sing along to all of them. We asked him to do some of his own songs and those were great, too. His laid-back style was perfect and he really turned it into an awesome party!

Of all the vendors we hired for our wedding, Eric earned the gold star for absolute most amazing contribution. He is a talented guitarist and singer and has an impressive repertoire of folk and classic rock favorites that guests from every generation enjoyed. He was also great about learning some extras that we requested. He was a pleasure to work with and his laid-back style really fit into the rustic setting of our wedding. Eric played at a campfire we hosted the night before our wedding as well as our ceremony and cocktail hour, and we got more compliments about his performance than any other part of the wedding. I'd recommend Eric to anyone in need of a musician!

Eric was great - prompt, and professional. A lot of people asked us "where we got James Taylor." The only thing is that we paid him more than he was due since originally there was slated to be a $50 site moving fee which didn't end up being necessary due to rain. The price wasn't adjusted but we didn't say a thing because we wanted to leave him that money as a tip since he was so great.

To sum up Erics performance it was FANTASTIC! So many of our guests commented on the ceremony music and just how perfect it was and what a lovely voice he has. I hope I have the opportunity to hire him again and I would recommend him to everyone. Just great guy, warm, and respectful.
