We chose Bruce to perform at our intimate wedding at City Hall in San Francisco and we certainly weren’t disappointed. His communication prior to the event was spot on and he went above and beyond to accommodate our song requests. It was lovely to meet Bruce and have him perform on our special day. He is kind, warm and generous and we felt that he wanted everything to be perfect for our wedding. He is a very talented musician and would highly recommend him.

We couldn’t have asked for a better guitarist to accompany our wedding with beautiful music before, during, and after the ceremony. Bruce went above and beyond by learning a special song for our walk down the aisle, making the moment truly unforgettable. Bruce was absolutely amazing right from the start. I contacted him on very short notice and requested 2 specific songs be played for a surprise proposal to my now fiancee. When I first spoke with Bruce he was unfamiliar with the songs but quickly went to work on them and even sent me a rough rendition of the primary song (vocal & guitar) within an hour of our talk. I was very impressed by how quickly he had learned and put his unique spin on the song. Bruce coordinated with a great photographer I had booked and everything went better than I could have ever imagined. Such a pleasure to work with, super talented and a very good human. Highly, highly recommended!!!

We had an amazing experience with Bruce playing at our wedding! From the very first communication over email, Bruce was incredibly detailed in what songs he could offer, even giving suggestions as to what could be played at what point during the ceremony. He was extremely flexible with our ever-changing, last minute requests. He arrived at the venue early, coordinated with our officiant by cell phone, and even riffed for 10 minutes on our setup/intro song while some of our guests were still arriving. To top it off, he took beautiful pictures and videos of the whole ceremony! We would absolutely work with Bruce again and wholeheartedly recommend him for your event!

This was the third time we've hired Bruce Brill to play music at an event. He's always organized; shows up early for setup; plays at just the right sound level; makes sure the music is appropriate; has an extensive list of music that he performs, and is, simply stated, a great addition to any event!

Bruce was amazing. Bruce was very helpful throughout the whole process: he provided samples of all the songs we wanted; he helped us organize the wedding; and he played all the songs we asked for expertly. He showed up early, played until all of our guest left and overall did an amazing job. His communication up to and during the ceremony was excellent — he even helped our officiant in understanding the acoustics of the venue.

We were in a bit of a bind due to our originally booked musician being ill. He was not only available but his communication was prompt. He arrived in plenty of time for our ceremony and was open to any desires we had for our wedding day. He was able to play all the songs on our playlist which was another bonus. I will be recommending Bruce to anyone who needs a guitarist for their event.

Bruce’s experience performing at SF City Hall was invaluable to us in many ways.
He helped Lisa understand how the ceremony unfolds and offered a long list of songs to choose from. Once I told Lisa he was our musician, she felt much more confidant and put her at ease. SF City Hall events have many rules and regulations so his familiarity with what is allowed kept us out of trouble. Very professional of him to contact the Events department beforehand, as well as making a last-minute recording of the song we chose to dance to so we could rehearse remotely. He was very personable, versatile, and talented. The music he played appealed to wide audience.

Bruce was professional, communicative and incredibly thoughtful. I reached out to him on a Thursday night, for an event Saturday. He sent me an exceptional song list and took the time to find out about the little details of the event and what we needed to make it an enjoyable experience. He showed up early, and his performance was wonderful. All our guests commented on how talented he was and how they loved the variety of music he played. He stayed later than expected at the request of our guests. He engaged with the little ones as well as the seniors, made everyone feel welcome, and brought a great sense of humor and laughter to all.
