They were such an amazing addition to our wedding! They played during processionals and all that, and then for cocktail hour after the ceremony. Their music is beautiful and they seem to have an endless repertoire! My only negative - I didn't have more time to enjoy their lovely music!!

These musicians were professional and talented. They made my daughter's wedding ceremony so special!
I would highly recommend them to anyone. They played for us without a rehearsal, and they were seamless. Bryan always gets back right away with questions and was great to work with.

I had a trio of musicians play for my wedding. A carbon fiber cello (awesome!), a viola, and the third musician had a flute, clarinet, alto sax, and soprano sax all with him. They did a great job playing fun and interesting music all evening from our specifically requested "Your Song" by Elton John to Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, and even Jurassic Park. They were a great group to have there.

We were really happy with the service they provided to us. Especially Bryan was quite helpful starting from the planning phase of the event. We really like the their musicians performance. They even performed a song out of their repertoire and they did it perfectly. In short, we would definitely work with them again if we have a chance.

I am having trouble dragging my mouse to make sure I give them 5"s on all categories. They were highly professional and all my requests were met. I would recommend them to friends, highly and without hesitation. Sadly, I did not get a chance to meet them as I was in the bridal suite with my daughter and then swept off to take pictures during the cocktail hour.

Very Satisfied!! Occasional Brass and Strings went out of their way to learn a specific song for me to walk down the aisle to! They were professional, accomodating, quick to respond and they sounded great! I would recommend them for any event!!!

Bryan was so easy to work with. He was always very professional and prompt in his responses. They have so many different group combinations you can hire- it seems as though they do it all. I thought all the different musicians we hired were wonderful (married June 18, 2011) and I had the piece of mind knowing I was working with a reliable company. We used OB&S for our ceremony/cocktail hour with a string trio, seated lunch featured a solo violinist and then for cake we had a nice jazz trio. You can't go wrong with them!

The overall experience with Occasional Brass & Strings was excellent. Bryan was accomodating around some changes in the date and would always return any messages quickly. Based on the exchanges I had with Bryanm, I was confident going in to the event (a company holiday party) that the music portion would be no cause of worry.
The actual performance was fun and enjoyable. Tney have a repetoire that spans four centuries, from Samuel Scheidt to Coldplay and everything in between. If you love the sound of brass, you should not hesitate to utilize their services.

I would recommend Occasional Brass & Strings to anyone. We had them as a brass quintet for our wedding ceremony. As a trumpet player myself (17 years), I tend to have a critical ear for ensembles like this and I must say that they were great! Their music filled the church beautifully without being too soft or overpowering and their chords sent chills down my spine! Outstanding!

They were great! I always dreamt of walking down the aisle to an instrumental version of Madonna's "Rain," & they were able to make this happen. In addition, I wanted to surprise my husband with a Smiths song for the recessional, & they accomodated this as well.
