The Greg Lamont Trio was fabulous. They are terrific jazz musicians the kind you don't hear enough of these days. Wonderful interpretations of the Great American Song Book, plays the standards but with their own enthusiasm and musicianship that guarantees that you're not hearing the same old thing. They are very professional, very friendly. This was an important professional association event, we would definitely hire them again! Our attendees enjoyed them, they made the night!

The Greg Lamont Trio were wonderful. We and our guests enjoyed an evening listening to and dancing to their music. Greg Lamont accommodated my special requests for certain songs with some sentimental value. Several of our guests pulled us aside to say how much they liked the group. In terms of professionalism - great: excellent communication beforehand, arrived on time, set up quickly, and played beautifully. I would choose them again.

Greg and his trio play great music, and are very professional. They showed up early to set up as they said they would and helped to bring the party to a level that never would have been possible with "canned" or pre-recorded music. I wholly recommended them without any reservation.

Greg Lamont and his colleagues played fantastic jazz for our event at Ben's Next Door for over 120 folks, who raved about the music, food and ambience. Greg and his group were consummate and experienced professional musicians. Greg was very personable: he took time to visit the venue the week before the event and everyone arrived very early to set up. They were generous with their play time. Some pieces were on the loud side for the space, but the trio was so good that many folks just sat and listened and took it all in all night. We would definitely hire Greg and his team for another event. Thanks, Greg, for making our event so special!

I hired the Greg Lamont trio to play during a wedding reception cocktail party at the Carlyle Club in Alexandria. They were perfect. Smooth pros, very classy, great music, a nice sense of how to handle an event like this. We got many, many compliments from our guests about them and how they made the reception very classy.

I offered to help my neighbor find a jazz trio for her daughter's graduation party. I wanted to make sure I didn't let her down so I did a lot of research before making any recommendations. The Greg Lamont Trio kept staying on top of my list as I did my research through the internet, speaking to other local musicians, receiving quotes, and getting recommendations from others.
I decided on this trio and I definitely did not let my neighbor down! She and all her guests, myself included, enjoyed every minute of their performance!! They were on time, professional, and sounded great!

We booked Greg Lamont for our wedding reception and cocktail hour and had a small space to work with, so we actually had Greg playing the piano and his upright bass player. They were punctual and extremely professional. We had asked them to come a bit earlier than originally planned and they kindly accommodated that. I received so many compliments on the music. I remember just looking over at them from time to time and just smiling from the enjoyment of the music and feeling so happy with our choice to hire them. Greg has an excellent singing voice as well. The music was just right, not overpowering in volume so that our guests could enjoy their conversations.

I LOVE Greg Lamont and his Trio. They and their music make a party come alive. Their professionalism is paramount and their friendly demeanor is appreciated. I think they are absolutely the best!
