Chris’ piano playing really made our Christmas party so beautiful, warm, and inviting. We enjoyed singing along with a few songs, and Chris was so accommodating to learn 2 songs that I requested. I highly recommend Chris!

I was a little nervous about hiring from an online site but I had nothing to worry about. Chris was the perfect choice for my event. His selection of music was so on target for the party. He practically played nonstop and his only break was for dinner which we were happy to provide. Unassuming and quiet, his piano playing was romantic and gentle. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who wants to add a bit of elegance to their next affair. Sooooo good and thankful I found him. .

Chris did a fantastic job for our event. He was really a great highlight to an overall excellent evening. Unlike some, I had no real restrictions or requests for him. I simply allowed him to express his artistic talant as he would like, and it was the best decision I made because he just seemed to shine. Would definitely do again.

I can’t say enough about Chris. Great communication prior to the event. Willing to dress in a way to match our party theme. Played non stop, with no sheet music and kept to the music vibe we requested. He is super talented and unbelievably gracious as he also was willing to work with/accompany another entertainer we had the night of our party. I really just cannot say enough and I cannot wait to have another occasion to hire Chris again.

Chris was the perfect addition to our Yacht Club Holiday party held in our home!! I knew from the first moment I read his bio that he would give us a night to remember. He not only played our baby grand beautifully but also had our guests singing throughout the night!! They all commented on his wonderful talent and the fun night!! Chris was great with contacting me and asked the right questions to make the event what I envisioned!! He was very professional in all aspects and even dressed to match our party theme!!! Chris was the dream choice for a crowded book party celebrating the biography of Elaine Stritch! He was familiar with her work, which really gave me confidence, and listened to my suggestions for songs, but also added his own expertise about what might work at such an event. Everyone loved his playing, which lent exactly the right mood. I was very nervous about the party and his professionalism and humor instantly put me at ease. He was prompt, polite, and just perfect. Would hire again in a heartbeat.

Chris was friendly and accommodating. He had a fine selection on his playlist. Exactly what I asked for. A mixture of classical, 40's, 50's and standards. I also asked for quiet ambience. His piano was unobtrusive so conversation was easy. I would hire him agai Oh and he was on time and ready to play.

Mr. Cooley went above and beyond my expectations for my wedding. Of particular note was the fact that he was able to accommodate our singer by learning a song from a recording by ear (along with all of the voicings for many very specific extended chords) and then by transposing it down to a key that better suited her voice. I appreciated his professionalism, punctuality, and cordiality throughout our conversations and also on the day of our wedding; I would recommend him to anyone who needs a highly competent and reliable musician.

Chris played at our daughter's bat mitzvah lunch. She wanted all classical, standards and showtunes - and Chris was a perfect match for us.
