Absolute pleasure to play for Scott and his now fiance. The effort he put into his proposal says a lot about his character and I was happy to be just a small part of that. I always try to show up dressed to impress but alas there was no keeping up with him that night. His photographer cousin was great to chat with behind the scenes and his soon to be bride was lovely. Thank you for having me.Review by Robert L.

Thanks so much for having me. I had a wonderful evening playing for you and your employees. It's always lovely getting to spend some time with people in an intimate, rustic, environment like that. I hope to get back up to that vineyard soon with my family. Best wishes for the holiday season and much health, wealth and joy to you in the New Year!Review by Jazmin S.

I've played for quite a few corporate events but….wow! Jazmin and her team did an amazing job with their “Christmas Around the World” theme. Walking around there was a very impressive amount of coordination and effort that had taken place… artists representing different nations, cuisine to the same end, coordinated TVs in all the rooms broadcasting live streams… And it all seemed to go off flawlessly. Thank you so much for having me, it was truly an experience and congratulations on all your efforts to make your event so successful!Review by Bryna S.

Had a great time playing for the American Towman convention for Bryna and her crew. I feel like I discovered an entire new world of people that are so thoroughly dedicated to their craft that I have a newfound appreciation for. Thank you so much for having for me, it was a pleasure meeting and playing for you!Review by Anna J.
Wedding Ceremony Reviewed on October 29, 2023 From Annapolis, MD
:
I was able to participate in Anna and her husbands riverside ceremony in Annapolis on a beautiful October afternoon. They were both charming individuals and had a very straight forward and lovely ceremony. I was happy for an excuse to break out my kilt and play for them under the embankment trees as their friends and family gathered to celebrate their union. Wishing them many years of joy and prosperity together, thank you for having me!Review by David R.

Monica and Adrienne were both absolute charms to play for, as were their family and guests and it was wonderful to see them shine in the glow of the gardens. They engaged me with an honest warmth I recall distinctly and I'm sure that kind of authenticity plays no small part in their love for each other. I particularly loved reading the promises they displayed to each, word smiths the both of them. Wishing them many beautiful years together. -BrandonReview by Diane R.

It was a humble and charming experience to help Diane celebrate the life of her friend Maureen. Hearing all the stories of her growing up and her time with the Rockaway girls was lovely. Best wishes and peace and joy to all her friends and family, thank you for letting me into this part of your lives.Review by Kim e.

Kimberly and her staff put on an amazing event. The pop up Irish bar that they created was lovelier than some of the brick and mortar ones Ive been too! Her and her staff were super friendly and fun to play for and the event itself (a very high end culinary exhibit) was an experience to say the least. A big thank you to the Eurest team for having me and for making such an effort to ensure that their Irish booth was well represented. Slainte!Review by Ryan K.

Ryan, his staff and patrons were veritable dream clients… engaged, kind, thoughtful… I performed in their brewery and it was a lovely way to wrap up a (very) hectic St Patrick's day week. I can't recommend Old House Vineyards enough if you're in the Culpeper area. They have all built something magical out there. Looking forward to coming back and seeing grandma dance again, thank you for having me!Review by Taylor S.

Working for Taylor was a breeze. He had a clear vision for his event which was communicated well. His employees were really engaged during the performance and very kind to me as I mingled between sets and as a bonus I got to play at a venue I've been wanting to perform at for a while. Thank you so much for having me out and best of luck to you and Diversitech in the future!Review by Caroline M.
Holiday Party Reviewed on December 18, 2022 From Washington, DC
:
Walking into Caroline's house felt like entering a hallmark Christmas card. She had put together an incredibly beautiful holiday party for her wine club. It felt like being in a movie. Despite being hostess to many friends and family members in attendance, she immediately turned her attention to me upon arrival and made sure I felt welcome into her home, as did her guests. They were such an enthusiastic audience I was glowing all the next day. They participated whole heartedly in the ceili dance and even sang with me at points. It was truly the embodiment of what Irish music is supposed to be. So thankful to have been able to collect this wonderful memory, slainte!Review by Lilly S.

Wedding Reception Reviewed on October 26, 2022 From Farmington, PA
:
It was such a blast getting to drive up through the Pennslyvania mountains, around a lovely lake and seeing the fall leaves change colors as I made my way to this wedding. The setting was beautiful and group was so welcoming and fun to play for. I got to "talk shop" with the groom who was a violin player himself and hear about their upcoming honey moon to Ireland (which I hope went well!!). Barry has been so supportive in some of my other endeavors since booking me, which Im very thankful for. Him and his wife were charming and getting to play in the rustic woodland cabin during dinner for his guests is the kind of thing musicians often dream about. Thank you guys!Review by Lisa P.

Im happy to entertain requests of any kind, but I truly love unique and fun challenges. Marian gave incredible instructions that made every aspect of executing this gig easy. Truth be told, she probably did more work than I did! Her and her family were very welcoming and talented musicians themselves. Much joy to Marian, her husband, and not least of all the woman of the day Elizabeth. Cheers 'til next time!Review by Deni L.

Giovanna and her new partner were dream clients. I'm sometimes hesitant to take any of the couples time on wedding/reception gigs as the family and friends are all there trying to get a bit of their time. However, I stole a moment with the two of them before leaving and I'm glad I did. We talked about standard wedding stuff…honeymoons, how crazy the day is… but it felt almost oddly genuine and sincere, I actually felt for about two minutes like I was a long time friend of them both, catching up. If they can make a complete stranger feel that way instantly, they will surely have a warm loving home that they will be building together in the future. Cheers guys.Review by Adina C.

If ever there was a couple to be made for a moment, it was Charlotte and Luke at 5pm on June 3rd 2022. Everything about this gig had an effortlessness to it, and I enjoyed every aspect of it. From communicating with them, to rehearsing, to performing. The wedding was a bit of a drive, and I had an early morning...normally Id pack up when my part was finished, thank the lovely couple for having me and make a quiet exit. What they had crafted however compelled me to stay and just enjoy a few moments to myself. I sat with my violin in the case next to me, drinking a beer, watching strangers dance and laugh and was ever so grateful to have been involved in the memory.Review by Summer B.

I had the privilege of performing at Summers daughters beautiful birthday party. The family was so warm and welcoming and before we'd even met the service staff at the venue told me "they are very nice people" and they were absolutely right. I had so much fun playing music with the kids as they shook the tambourines and egg shakers, thank you so much for letting me be part of your day!Review by Barbara G.

Shannons event was a pleasure to play for. Its very humbling to have clients be so appreciative of the services I can provide, but that is typically a two way street of gratitude. Getting to play in the nature center, fire going outside, hot chocolate on tap surrounded by a lovely array of impassioned locals bringing their carefully crafted wares to sell was a joy to be a part of. Shannon and her staff were accommodating and considerate, even as they were hard at work managing the event. Thanks for the lovely memories and I look forward to our paths crossing again in the future! -Brandon
