Banjocats have a wonderful blend of talent, sound and personality. Their beautiful music was the highlight of our event. They worked closely with me determining music selection and in every way, made our event absolutely wonderful and memorable. I am still receiving accolades from our guests about the music and everyone asks how I was able to find them. I highly recommend them for whatever occasion you are hosting. They are professional in every way and their sound has a wide appeal. I defintely will invite them to play when I host another party. Thank you Banjocats and GigMasters for making my event turn out exactly the way I had hoped. Five Stars in every way!

Normally I don’t write reviews but absolutely had to because the Banjocats are AMAZING! We hired for our outdoor, rooftop party in Chicago but it rained and we didn’t have a contingency plan. The Banjocats were so flexible, patient and willing to make anything work. We dragged them from full outdoor setup to outdoor acoustic to indoor acoustic to outdoor full setup again plus they were carrying their equipment and instruments each time! But that doesn’t compare to their great talent. They knew how to get the crowd going, mix it up, feature each player and really create a wonderful atmosphere for our party. Would absolutely hire them again in a heartbeat!

Michael and Jennifer's band played for my wedding ceremony and reception. They were wonderful to work with and very entertaining! Having them play at the ceremony added so much to the atmosphere, more than just having music played by a DJ. I made a request before the wedding that they learn a song I wrote and allow me to perform it on stage with them at the reception. We ran through the song a few times together the morning of the wedding. They were so quick to pick it up and follow me. It was so fun to perform with them at the wedding! Michael, Jennifer, Dan, and Andy took the wedding to the next level with their excellent musical skills! I highly recommend them!

The band was easy to stay in contact with and were great about confirming everything for the wedding. They arrived far earlier than I thought to set up, sound check, etc. All of our wedding party members, family, and guests loved the music. I can't say enough great things about them!!! :-) :-) :-)

Wow! The Banjocats were amazing. They sounded perfect for my event. They were kind enough to play acoustically downstairs at the venue and then move upstairs for the dancing. People keep asking me about the band and my father-in-law is actually planning on seeing the band play at a local festival! I would highly recommend this band. We had such a good time.

The Banjocats were amazing!!!!! They suffered through 100 degree temperature to set up for my daughters wedding smiling the entire time. Their performance during the ceremony was perfect and handled the stress of an upcoming storm flawlessly. The music for the reception was wonderful. All the guests commented on how great they were and how much they enjoyed listing to them play and sing. Michael and Jennifer were awesome to work with, handling all our requests and responded immediately to every question we had. They are the best!!!!!!

Just fantastic- we could not have asked for a better band than Jennifer and Michael McClain for our wedding celebration. They played thro the cold despite not having any feeling in their hands! The Banjocats were the perfect band for our daughter's Barn wedding and reception. Everyone enjoyed their wonderful bluegrass music throughout the evening. I loved the fact that they were able to play some traditional ceremony music in addition to entertaining the crowd during the reception. Michael handled the details before the wedding so professionally and sent us a CD of various songs they play. I would highly recommend the Banjocats to others!

Jennifer and Michael McLain, a.k.a. "Banjocats" played at our Family Reunion in the mountains of West Virginia. They were AMAZING.
They were very professional from beginning to end. High marks across the board. Blue Grass music at its best.
Jennifer has an angelic like voice that is sweet and so pure. Michael brings in his harmony to a perfection.
If you are looking for Blue Grass music and want to request a few of your favorite songs then "Banjocats" is a crowd pleaser. I highly recommend them. Sit back and relax because your event will be in good hands with Jennifer and Michael.

I would give them a 6 on a scale of 1 to 5. Very polished, professional act - I expected very good quality, and was blown away by their performance. Wonderful people, beautiful music - I wanted to sit and listen to them all day, but I was the groom and had 1,001 other things to do. Everyone (and I do mean everyone) in attendance loved them.
