Matt was incredible from our first email till the last song played. Not only is he an extremely talented musician, but he's responsible, professional, on-time, accomodating, well-dressed, adorable and one of the nicest guys we've ever met. Throughout the event, our friends kept asking, "Where did you find this guy?" He just seemed to know what we were looking for... an intimate and heartfelt day with low key, fun music that would make people at ease. He learned "Colder Weather" for us and believe it or not, sang it better than Zac Brown himself. His "Marry Me" by Train was PHENOMENAL and made everyone cry as I walked down the isle. Wish I could give him 10 stars!!!

If you are looking for a great performer, HIRE MATT! This guy rocked my wife's 50th birthday party. He played for 5 straight hours, had everyone dancing and singing along and has a such a range of songs that he can be a hit for any age group. He was on time, dressed professionally, worked with me in advance for ideas of a playlist and overall is a wonderful guy. San Diego Magazine stated that he has one of the top 10 voices in town, he lived up to that reputation last night.

We had Matt play the guitar and sing during our wedding and the cocktail hour at our reception in Ellen Browning Scripps Park in La Jolla. As soon as I heard him play on gigmasters I knew I had to have him play for our wedding and my husband and I were not disappointed! Matt is an amazing talent and all of my guests were blown away by his voice and guitar playing! He had a huge portfolio of songs to choose from and he was accomodating to every request we had (including hauling all of his stuff from the park to the Crab Catcher patio where we had our cocktail reception!) We would both recommend him to anyone...thanks Matt!!

Pete and I were so excited to work with Matt Commerce! He was so friendly, professional and genuinely excited to work with us on our big day! We booked Matt for our company Christmas Party, and I simply cannot say enough wonderful things about him! Prior to the event, he was very communicative, responded quickly & thoroughly to my emails, & was very accommodating to our schedule & requirements. For our event, he played consistently throughout cocktail hour, dinner, & dancing. Multiple guests asked me "Where on Earth did you find him?!" He exceeded all of our expectations & everyone was amazed by his range of talent & genres. He knows songs to please all ages, & had our guests dancing & singing along at the end of the night. We will definitely be booking Matt for future events! I definitely recommend him!

Wow! Talented, Polite, Professional, Acoustic / Harmonica combo who can sing. Matt tears it up! Matt’s got the range to pull off just about anything and you can tell he puts allot of time into perfecting his endless repertoire of classics! We had the pleasure of having Matt perform for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and first dance. Matt is an amazing artist and was so easy to work with. He has an extensive song list and even performed a song that we really wanted for our processional that was not on his song list. Matt is extremely professional, responded to emails quickly, and arrived early to set up - he was able to perform in three different areas. We made sure to make our cocktail hour so we could hear him perform some of our favorite songs. Our guests really enjoyed his music as well. Matt responded quickly to my initial inquiry with enthusiasm and eagerness. Booking with him was a breeze and he showed up at our event right on time and quickly set up his equipment. He played the perfect mix of music for our dinner party. From Jack Johnson, to Jason Mraz, Billy Joel...he covered everyone's favorites. Not only that, but he has a fabulous voice and our guests were asking all night, "where did you find this guy!" He dressed in appropriate attire and looked and sounded great. We couldn't have been more satisfied with our experience with him. Would recommend him to anyone looking for some great acoustic guitar and vocals!

Matt promptly responded to all emails and questions, arrived early at the event (which was two hours from LaJolla), and was the utmost professional in every respect. He is a very talented musician and did a great job mixing songs that everyone enjoyed. The last song requested was one he had not heard before (Red Solo Cup by Toby Keith). He picked it up after listening to the you tube version for just 45 seconds. It was a great way to end our outdoor party. Simply put, I couldn't recommend him more highly.

I would highly recommend Matt! He is courteous, professional , accommodating and more importantly talented! All of my guests were so impressed with Matt, he really went out of his way to make sure our Christmas party special.
I mentioned that my Grandfather was a musician and that I was from a Hispanic background so he sang a couple of songs in Spanish- that was really special for me!!
