Absolutely first class-on time, good equipment, great talent, good song list, very flexible with multiple locations during our fundraiser. His music contributed greatly to the success of our event, and the 200 people in the room could not stop moving to the beat!

Ian was the highlight of our 21st Annual Luau! He went above and beyond to get our most challanging residents involved and to participate. He was very accommodating with all our special requests. I believe this will be an event that will be talked about for a long time. One of the comments I have heard is that this was "the best luau we have ever had", Ian helped make that goal a reality. I would love to work with him again.I would stongly recommend him for any event!

Ian's Pan Leggo was terrific! I listened to a few songs on the website and really like a couple of songs but I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy the whole 3 hours of the music and I was pleasantly surprised at how great the music was. Ian's Pan Leggo really made my party a hit. There were many compliments about the music throughout the day. I would hire Ian's Pan Leggo again and I'd highly recommend them to liven up a party.

He did a great job. He played well and when people talked too much on the microphone, he played and extra 25 minutes to make up the difference, which was not part of the contract. He also gave me a great CD at the end.

Ian Dobson and his associates where very professional and provided a wonderful performance enjoyed by our entire staff. Ian's band provided the perfect ambiance to pull the entire event together. Ian customized his performance to our hospital. The feedback from our staff was they Ian and his band were one of the best parts about the entire event. I would recommend Ian to anyone that would like a complete package of an interactive band, that sounds like you are in paradise sitting on the beach. Thank you. Ian was very eager to please. We were very VERY happy with him. All the guests at our party loved the music. We loved that the kids got to be included with some of the performance. He was very versitile with the places we had for him to perform and wonderful despite the sweltering heat! We'd definately like to have him over again. The calypso sound definately set the mood at our event.

Great! A little too expensive for a fundraiser.

Thank you Carrie! I had a great time. I do wish I could offer a highly discounted rate for fundraisers. Performing is my full-time job and I work on it far more than 40 hours per week. I invest a great deal in equipment as well. I believe that this is reflected in the high-quality performance that I offer. The problem is that I earn a good portion of my income for the year during the summer months, particularly on the weekends. There is a high demand. In addition I get numerous requests for non-profit discounts for practically every summer weekend day. So I would quickly lose a large portion of my income if I discounted heavily. That said I do offer various discounts

We enjoyed having Ian Dobson as the entertainer at our dock party. He was everything we wanted and more. Everyone enjoyed listening to his sound and he got us moving with his dance instructions, limbo contest and congo line. Perfect!

We hired Ian for my wife's 40th Birthday bash at our house....we had over 100 people, and they all had great things to say about Ian and his performance. The party was a Hawaiian Luau theme, the weather was perfect for a party outdoors, and Ian's steel drum music topped off the perfect party experience. Ian and his band were wonderful! Their sound made our work picnic fun and lively and they were wonderful about being flexible with our space and its limitations (no amplification, strange set up, etc.).
