Dear Claudia, sadly I agree with your assessment of the overall outcome of your daughter's party.If you recall our coversations on the planning of your party, you will have to admit I told you on several occasions that through my years of experience it doesn't work to simply put a blonde wig on a pretty 18 year old brunette and pass her off as Cinderella no matter how beautiful the dress is. Characters whose faces aren't concealed under a "Big Head" are actually impersonators and must look, act and speak the part. They are one of the most difficult roles to fill in this industry. Didi was really pleasant and worked hard to make the party a success. I was disappointed that the theme was not fully followed. I was hoping for songs and music from Peter Pan. However, an hour before the party, Didi called me and informed me that the CD with the Peter Pan music got destroyed. This was disappointing, but I guess things happen. She did a good job entertaining the kids. Kids liked her magic and enjoyed cotton candy. She definitely put a lot of effort and I have to mention that driving to and from Westchester county could not have been easy for her but she got it done. Thank you

The thing was I paid $500 for elmo, games, face painting, balloon twisting, and a dj. Okay there was music, games for the kids & face painting and balloon twistng. But, elmo was there for 15 min top. I honestly think it wasn't worth $500. They also could've been a lil more professional dress Wise. But, they did there job with the kids they definitely were entertained.

when speaking to didi maxx I was very hppy, but overall the entertainment was poor, they did not engage with children, there was no show or games played, the kids were bored with entertainment aand didn't pay much attention to clown..

I am very sorry that Vanessa is so disappointed. I agree that the clown was not engaging. It was later discovered that she was suffering from a painfully overstretched ligament in her knee when she had fallen and twisted it earlier that day at another party. Because the 2nd performer was an assistant and not a fully trained children's entertainer, she didn't have the skills to take over. I have resolved the situation with Vanessa by giving her a refund. My entertainers are instructed to inform me when they are not feeling well, even if it is in the midst of a party, so that I can send a suitable replacement. The clown had decided to "tough it out." She won't again.

i requested a clown for my party and diddi suggested and diddi suggested maribelle who was a child entertainer. i asked diddi if she could come with her face partialy painted and bright colored clothing. Didi assured me she would. Maribelle came with no makeup and was dressed in black. I was dissappointed since i really requested a clown.

I'm disappointed as well. This would have been a great review if not for miscommunication. She originally requested information regarding a clown, but we also discussed other options since the party was in an upscale catering hall. When she called back to book entertainment, I assumed she wanted a "Child Entertainer" dressed in formal attire. The confirmation that Colleen approved clearly stated that Maribelle would perform as a "Children's Entertainer," and I repeated the same when we spoke over the phone a few days before the party to confirm. She simply misunderstood that to mean clown. Now I make sure to go over the performer(s) attire to avoid such confusion.

I was very disappointed with the appearance of the clowns n the character spongebob was very dirty. What i paid for i did not get at all i truly think its a waist of my money. They did not play any games with the children. i could have do without hiring a clown because whatever they did i could have done it myself. 10 out of 10 people ask me wat kind og clown was that "i hope u didnt pay for such service" when i told them how much paid they wanted to kill me. Very unsatified customer.

Had I not been one of the entertainers at the party, I would have fired someone after reading this review! I must say I am relieved that I have so many stellar reviews on Gig Salad, Thumbtack, my website as well as my 3 other Gig Masters sites. As for Nadela, who confirmed 15 children for this party, there was no time for games after we posed for photos, made balloon animals and served cotton candy to well over 40 children!!! And, had you not had such an overcrowded backyard, perhaps your server wouldn't have spilled that tray of drinks all over my assistant and I. I've still yet to be paid for the cleaning bill you asked me to send to you. Very unsatisfied myself!!

Not sure what all the fuss and rave reviews are about. I specifically told her the amount and ages of children and adults for my son's first birthday party. The magic show was not engaging at all. She was not lively enough and didn't even try to get the adults involved. Most of the magic tricks soared right over the kids heads. At one point she fumbled a prop and hit a child in the head (I wish I was kidding). There was one point in the show where she used a bubble machine and turned the bubbles into glass marbles. WHO GIVES CHILDREN GLASS MARBLES??? Overall, I cannot recommend Didi, and honestly, most of the adults were disappointed in her performance as well.

I was very disappointed @ her performance & behavior. I requested a family show but she mainly focused on the kids. I was standing near her during the show & I could barely hear her. She did not request a mic & I did not want to be rude to place a mic & disrupt her show. Some of her props were broken & the kids could see thru the tricks.

Unprofessional experience. Poor talent despite the high price

When Tina phoned me the day after the party, her only complaint was that balloons had popped and she and her husband felt that there was little to show for the money they spent. She hired a face painter / balloonist. The entertainer who was at the party is a professional Special Effects Make Up artist who has been working for me for over 6 years without a single complaint. The entertainer agreed that some of the balloons were indeed popping because of the heat, but also because some of the children were intentionally popping balloons as children sometimes do because they think it's fun.

Didi was very responsive and positive throughout the planning process. During the show, we felt that it was tough for her to engage with all the different age groups in the room. She had a great attitude throughout the show and always smiling.

Very disappointing experience. She called out sick 2 hours before the party and sent her sister instead. Though her sister did her best in trying to entertain the children, there was no magic show performed, and considering that was the main reason for hiring Didi, the service was disappointing for me and for the guests who were expecting a magic show.
