Since 1981 recording artist FREEPORT JAZZ, two members are Grammy recognized (2016), has been offering a combination of Smooth Jazz, Contemporary Jazz, and Jazz Standards nationally. What a combination!! Something for everyone!! We are also known for bringing a strong willingness and desire to ensure a great event and very easy to work with!! Although FREEPORT is known in the Smooth Jazz community having performed and recorded with the likes of Kirk Whalum, Gerald Albright, Bob James, Jeff Lorber, Chuck Loeb, Bob Baldwin, Grover Washington Jr., Tower Of Power, and others at jazz festivals and top venues we are equipped and ready for corporate functions, weddings, fundraisers, etc. The four piece Jazz group consists of Steve Thornton on saxes, flute, keyboards, percussion, Jo "Dread" Daniels on keyboards, Tony Testa on drums, and Scott Marvill on bass.
