John drove quite a distance through traffic and tourists to get to our event and was on time, gracious and did a fantastic job performing at our ceremony and cocktail hour. We would definitely recommend his services to anyone.

I hired John to play at my parents' 50th wedding anniversary party, which was held at their home on 10/28/06. John did a wonderful job keeping people entertained and he was willing to play special requests and engage people in sing-a-longs. John was in communication with me a few times prior to the event, which I appreciated. On the day of the event, John was on time (in spite of the weather!) and friendly with our guests. He looked like he was happy to be there. Many people commented to me on how nice John was and I am very happy we hired him. Thanks again John!

Finding someone to work with in Boston, we live in Michigan, could have presented a daunting challenge but John was delightful to work with and made long distance arrangements effortless. He was easy and flexible -- we had to change the location and theme for the evening at the last minute. His music was just the right combination of contemporary and jazz to set the upbeat mood we wanted for our son's wedding rehearsal dinner. I would highly recommend him for any occasion.

I would highly recommend John D'Ambrosio for any occasion. I hired John to play for 100 people at my late mother's senior living center. It was a wonderful night of music and memories, spanning the 1930s to today's music. John played a great variety of tunes and made it easy for people who wanted to sing solos and for the crowd to share sing-a-ling tunes. John was available to discuss music and details. He is an excellent listener and a terrific piano player. He came early and brought a keyboard and mike in case the piano was out of tune. He can handle just about anything and he is all class. Call or email John and start planning - you'll be glad you did.

John had a lovely selection of older singer/songwriter, Sinatra, and "Tin Pan Alley" standards (1930s, 40s, 50s+, Not much 70s-+.) and some relatively newer stuff (Beatles), but the older music was perfect for our reception at the historic Biltmore hotel. Volume and tempo was appropriate for a networking event. Timely and responsive to requests. Excellent execution and emotion. No hesitation giving recommendation if you are looking for that style of piano music. Denise Tessier
