WOW! Otro Mundo transformed our wedding ceremony and reception from a really nice evening into a magical one! I- and all of my guests, who couldn't stop talking about them- were truly impressed by their amazing talent, flexibility, professionalism... they had us all on the dance floor and we didn't want their music to end. We felt like we were transported to another part of the world- the ceremony music was simply beautiful, and the reception music- so full of energy! Again- wow! Couldn't be happier with my choice to have Otro Mundo play at our wedding. I highly recommend them for any event!

Otro Mundo did a fantastic job for our corporate client dinner. They are extremely talented and professional. Their music really helped create the upbeat, social atmosphere that made the dinner such a success, without being too intrusive or overbearing. We had many compliments from our guests on the band. We also appreciated how much actual playing time they gave us during the event - as our CEO said, "they really earned their keep!"

We were happy in every respect with our experience using Otro Mundo. They conducted themselves completely professionally. They met with us before the event to plan their performance, tailored their music to our audience, set up and performed as scheduled, and responded favorably to special requests. Even the professional musicians among our guests were impressed with the group.

Otro Mundo played for four and a half hours at my anniversary party. They did a fantastic job! They arrived promptly, set themselves up and started to play. The music was fabulous and set a perfect tone for the event. Many of my guests made a point of saying how great they were.

They were perfect! I couldn't have asked for a better group. They were gracious, the music was the right tempo & volume. My guests raved how they were able to talk to each other without having to shout yet they were always aware of the music. Even my 87 yr. old mother-in-law said she had no problem with conversation as the volume was just right. They also were able to sense when the party was in the dancing mood, and kicked it up a notch. Not only would I recommend them I probably will hire them again. My son, the groom to be, even enjoyed talking to them during their break.

Calima was great! I hired them to play at my daughter's wedding. They played as the guest were being seated for the outdoor ceremony,wedding march and a few hours inside the ballroom. I thought they would add a soft touch while we ate prior to the dj dance music. Calima did a fantastic rendition of the wedding march thanks to kevin's {band leader} suggestion that we include a flute player. So many of our guest young and old raved about calima. In fact some asked why did they leave so early? I look forward to hiring them again, mabe for my house warming. Kevin, thank you for being a key contributer for our daughter's special day. This band was terrific. They were talented, preofessional and had the exact sound we were looking for. Everyone at our event complimented us on the music. Kevin, the band coordinator and bassist, was courteous, conscientious and a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely have Calima play for us again!

The band was hot hot hot - our group did not want the evening to end! From start to finish the planning and arrangements went well, and we accommodated each other's needs. These are incredible musicians, of the highest quality, and we'd like them to return even though it's a long journey. A perfect event - thanks.
