Darryl is a wonderful talent. A consummate professional, he arrived early, set up in no time and began entertaining our party. Everyone loved the music and Darryl was a huge hit! I recommend Darryl as the ultimate performer!

He was on time and very well dressed!!!! He was DEFINITELY very PROFESSIONAL and ACCOMMODATING. He kept the guest entertained and performed the songs that were suitable for the Event. He was very courteous and articulate which is definitely a PLUS!! He always talk to you with a smile which gave off a warm spirit. He came in and set up his equipment and was ready to go! BEAUTIFUL voice, good looking and took request. People are still complimenting him to me and very interested in hiring him. I will Hire him and recommend him at anytime. Oh my GOD! if anyone was to hire him they would not be DISAPPOINTED! I am very GLAD that we met! I CHOSED THE RIGHT ONE BABY!!

What an outstanding time and great reviews from our celebration guests. Darryl not only provided entertainment, music, and vocal favorites during our dance, but served as our emcee and musical assistant during our formal program. Everyone wanted his info and was highly impressed.

Darryl is an exceptional and phenomenal performer! He far exceeded our expectations and if I could have rated him 10 on a scale from 1-5 I would have. His talent, his enthusiasm, and energy are amazing. You feel you are listening to a full band, yet he is solo. His play list and variety is wonderful, plus he has play list books so guests can make requests. He was very professional and prompt as well. Everyone that heard him wants to book him for various upcoming events such as weddings, community parties, and anniversaries. He is an excellent piano player and has a very wonderful singing voice as well. Darryl made our ordinary event into a fantastic event!!

Darryl Armistead performed for my mother's 80th birthday party. He was awesome. I requested that he play some Lou Rawls songs for her along with others as well. . Well, Darryl gave a Lou Rawls type of concert. AlthoughI hired him to perform for 45 minutes, Daryl performed over two hours. My mother and her guests loved him. He loves to entertain. He came to a banquet hall large enough to accommodate 185 people, and he brought ALL microphones and speakers and his keyboard. He even had a wireless microphone for me to use. Darryl is a true professional with a great deal of talent. If you hire him, you will not be disappointed.

Darryl is very professional and personable which made working with him an absolute pleasure. I hosted a cocktail party for my husbands 50th birthday and Darryl provided the entertainment(solo piano). He was spectacular.He kept my guests engaged with his extensive song list which spans across many genres. He bought his entire catalog and took request. My guests loved it! They danced all night. Darryl saw how much fun everyone was having that he went well beyond the contracted time. My guest continue to rave about how our party was one of the best they have ever attended. Darryl was the perfect entertainer for our party. We had 15 close friends with whom we regularly celebrate New Year's Eve. Darryl was a hit with everyone. His play list is extensive, and he's a great improviser. We would absolutely have him back.

Darryl was amazing. He played for four hours (he was accommodating enough to stay a bit longer because everyone was enjoying him so much) and really did an amazing job. It was my parents' 40th anniversary and made the event that much more memorable. I'm trying to do d a reason to have him come back and play again!

Darryl is an amazing jazz artist. Both his music and voice were a huge hit at our cocktail reception. Everyone loved his passion and positive energy throughout the reception - we had guests who did not want Darryl to stop playing! Anytime I am planning an event in Chicago, I will definitely give Darryl a call.
