Blake is amazing! We were in California - planning an event in Boston - and Blake made it all so easy. Everything was perfect: All the guys in the trio are excellent musicians with an extensive set list, pleasant to work with, quick to set up, and great with our guests. The music was perfect for the event; we got a bazillion compliments - not only from our friends and family but also from people on the other side of the fireplace in the restaurant! I'm only sorry that we don't live in Boston so that we could come out and listen to the Blake Newman Trio anytime we wanted to.

The BLAKE NEWMAN GROUP played beautifully at our 50th Wedding Anniversary Party and even included a favorite song of ours (from the years-past French movie, "A Man and A Woman"). Guests thought they were wonderful and our photographer said he would recommend them to his Wedding clients. Blake and his musicians made our Party a truly memorable night for us.

One of the best experiences in recent memory.... Blake and his group recently played at a party I threw for my wife's birthday. This was a relatively small and intimate gathering at our home, and I was hoping to make the evening special. Blake and the group arrived on time, set up quickly/seamlessly in our living room, and played for a very impressed group of people. Blake also took the time to work in a few special tunes I had requested not on their setlist. They did a great job reading the room and keeping everyone entertained. I am not overstating it when I say that this was one of the best experiences I can remember. Friendly, professional, and talented. A+

TOP NOTCH!! I hired the Blake Newman Group for my daughter's wedding. The entire day went off without a problem and the Blake Newman Group did their part to contribute to the festive atmosphere. They exceeded our expectations for great jazz during our wedding cocktail hour - we and our guests loved it! Outstanding and highly recommended! I had an unusual request for a jazz trio to perform in my sister's living room for my Dad's 85th birthday (He is a huge jazz fan, but his health has limited his mobility). Blake was a pleasure to work with - from the beginning of our email conversations, he was extremely accommodating and committed to making the event special for my Dad and my family. He created the set list based my Dad's favorite songs. The gig itself was everything we had hoped it would be - outstanding musicianship, terrific rapport and complete professionalism in every way. My Dad said it was truly a lifetime highlight for him. Hire Blake and his band!

I hired the Blake Newman group to play at a political fundraiser with 200 guests in attendance. From my initial inquiry through the performance Blake and the other musicians were responsive, professional, and friendly. Blake was exceptionally helpful during the booking process about pricing and instrument availability. The musicians arrived with plenty of time to spare and played beautifully for the full two hours, being flexible with their break to accommodate multiple speeches during the event. All of the guests raved about the group's performance and I look forwarding to working with them again soon!
