Retro Notes was absolutely amazing in all ways!! I arranged them for a surprise 50th party, and they overdelivered. I especially appreciate working with Bendik before the event to figure out the set list, as it was a mix of latin, jazz, and swing. He went out of his way to listen and give advice. Following that, Bendik worked with the band to learn new numbers just for my event! At the event, they were exceptional: discreet, but present. They were attentive to the volume and event flow. Many guests told me how wonderful the music was, and it truly made the event! Can't say enough good things about Bendik and Retro Notes - will book again!!

Retro Notes added a fantastic touch to our Symphony San Jose Gala and pre-concert festivities in the lobby of the California Theatre before our Opening Concert. Their performance was amazing! They were super professional, punctual, and such a pleasure to work with. Our patrons thoroughly enjoyed the music and the vibrant atmosphere they created! ??? I will be happy to work again with them for future opportunities!

Retro Notes was so easy to work with! They showed up on time, and played music that our entire event enjoyed. They dressed up in costumes to match our Roaring Twenties theme. All of the participants loved them, and we had multiple guests tell us that Retro Notes was the band to book for this event!

We are so grateful to Retro Notes for always bringing amazing music to our events! We have hired them 4 times in the last year and every time they have been on time, professional, easy to communicate with, and their music is simply fantastic! They are a very talented group and all of our guests love them! We don’t host any events without booking Retro Notes and I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to add that special atmosphere and entertainment to their events.
