Wow. Sala's turned my backyard into a dinner theater show. It was amazing! JR was an excellent MC with an elaborate sound system and additional instrumentation like drums and guitar.
Umi Sexton, the fireknife dancer, fell nothing short of expection. My guests couldn't believe their eyes. He was unbelievably good! It was great advertising to let my guests know that a "world fireknife dancing champion" would be performing at our party.
The crowd participation was great. The hula dancer taught girls and guys how to dance on stage. No one left disappointed. I would recommend Sala's to anyone. Thanks again, JR...

JR and his Sala's South Seas Review was 5 stars across the board. It was my birthday and my wife booked them. We about had 50 people for a 6 hour party. JR arrived in advance and set up. Everything on time. Very personable, friendly and accommodating. Played any music for party time. Show was spectacular. Crowd was wowed by a professional show at our party. The Polynesian dancing girl was beautiful--the guy was awesome=both very fit and authentic. Show started just after dark with professional spot lights.We certainly recommend them to anyone needing a DJ and party entertainment on a professional level. Very reasonably priced.

I held a surprise Luau for my step daughters remission and boy was she and her friends BLOWN away !! JR does an outstanding job ! He shows up on time is extremely pleasant and professional to work with as was Grace the female and Umi the male Fire Hawaiian dancer. Everyone at the party had an amazing time ! I know that my guests will talking about this event for a LONG time :-) I am usually not superfluous with my comments and can tell you without any hesitation that he gets an "11" out of 10 !!!

Sala's South Seas was OUTSTANDING.. I Highly recommend them to Everyone. If you want your party to be a success you need to use Sala's South Seas you would not be disappointed. They were helpful to me in every way. They gave 200% of what they said they would. I never thought they were going to be that good. My party will go down in history as the best thanks to Jr Sala's South Seas. Believe me, you will never regret hiring Sala's South Seas. Do it, Do it, NOW. This was by far the best entertainment that we have had at a party. This was for a University of Florida function, and we were very impressed at the level of professionalism that was shown. The entertainment was so impressive, it truly felt like you were in the islands. The music was perfect, the audience interaction was perfect, and the show itself could not have been better. People that attended the party are still talking about it. They say it's the best party they have been to in our department in the five years they have been with us. I would definetly book Sala's South Seas Revue again.

We hired J.R. and his company for a private luau party for 70 guests. The show was AWESOME!!!! My husband and I have attended several luaus in Hawaii. This show was as good as any we saw there. J.R was very professional. Everyone arrived for set up exactly as promised. We had the performers do a lei greeting as guests arrived. They were wonderful interacting with the guests and posing for pictures. I can't say enough about the quality of the show. J.R. was a great MC - and the hula dancers were lovely. Sala was spot on time with helped so much with preparations for the party and keeping stress levels down. His equipment and attitude were very professional and he made sure to make everything worry free. Its been two weeks since my sweet sixteen and people are still talking about how great and entertaining his show was! He kept us engaged and laughing and struck with the beauty of the culture, never losing our attention. The dancers were wonderful, especially the fire dancer, he won the hearts of some of my single friends haha! It was a night I'll never forget, they were phenomenal, I highly recommend this group to anyone looking to really experience polynesia.

Great Great Entertainment!!!! The show was excellent and Mr. Salas is so nice, accommodating and professional. This was a surprise party for my husband's 40th birthday and he will never forget it. The dancers were awesome it was like we were in Hawaii!! I was concerned about having the fire dancer in the daylight, let me tell you it was STILL AWESOME. WE were all very pleased, if you have any reservations about booking please don't hesitate. I worked with Mr. Salas from NC and he answered all my questions and did a WONDERFUL JOB. Words cannot express the excellence of this companys talent. JR is a great PR man for this company. All of the entertainment was great. The interaction with the guest,exceptional. Everyone attending the party has commented on the great dancing,music,firedancing and above all the great personally of the people doing the show. The orginal clothing and music was so exciting to see and hear. I will definitly recommend your site and Sal's South Sea Revue,to everyone I know. Whether they are having a party or not. This group was great to work with from beginning to end. Very entertaining and true to the culture. My only comment would be to have the show itself run a little longer. It went by way too fast!

What a great show. J.R. was very professional and showed up on time. The dancers were great. We loved the authentic costumes. We were set to have a fire twirler but bad weather caused the event to be move indoors...it was a little sad that the resort would not allow fire indoors (go figure!) but the team regrouped and really pulled out all the stops to make sure that everyone enjoyed themselves. I would definitely hire Sala's again.

Our fire dancer was AN HOUR LATE!!!! My guests were getting stir crazy and it was cold outside. I was just about to start dinner when I heard he finally showed up. My wedding planner asked him to be there 30 minutes early and to allow time for getting lost or running late and he WOULD NOT accomodate her. This was my WEDDING!
The performance itself was amazing and because he did a great job, the guests forgot how long they waited. The point here though, is that I was hearing complaints on MY WEDDING DAY because the dancer was LATE, AN HOUR LATE!!!
He didn't even offer a discount for the inconvenience.

I have always taken pride in my performances and ensuring that my clients have a memorable experience. I truly apologize to Amber and the unnecessary stress she endured because of my Fireknife dancer's tardiness. I told him to be there an hour prior to his performance and stressed the importance of his performance time, which I always do. He said he was stuck in a traffic jam, but there is no excuse for what happened, and I wish I could undo the damage done. It's very heartbreaking for me to know that Amber did not receive the experience I wanted for her. I most truly wish her the best and hope one day she will forgive me. Aloha and Mahalo, J.R. Sala
