It was a pleasure working with Susan Miron for our daughter's wedding. We weren't sure exactly how to go about finding the right person to play what my daughter wanted to hear. Susan went above and beyond to make the night perfect. Susan's personally was very genuine and easy to get to know.She is very easy to work with and was very punctual making it a less stressful event. We highly recommend Susan to anyone looking for a nice evening of listening to music on the harp. Thank You Again

I heard about Susan Miron through a friend of mine who used her at her wedding (10-1-10). I am so glad that I listened to her when she told me that I must get Susan for my wedding (7-16-11). Susan is extremely talented, has a cheerful personality, and her music is absolutely beautiful. I am still receiving compliments from the wedding guests!! Susan responded well to emails and accomodated music I would like played. She purchased sheet music for specific songs - willing to play songs that were not "classical". I had an outdoor ceremony and was confused why Susan was positioned under a balcony so far from the guests, making it difficut to hear the harp. I was later informed that Susan insisted she could not have her harp in the sun. Susan never indicated to me this concern even though I had told her about the outdoor ceremony. Susan told me she arrived 2 hours early and she did stay to play for guests a bit during the indoor cocktail hour, but moving the harp took time so this was brief...disappointing.

I have played many outdoor ceremonies, but there was always some sort of shelter or tree for the harp to be under. This wedding was out in the middle of a field and the wedding organizer allowed me to use this sheltered space. I repeatedly, before the ceremony, asked the guests if they could hear me, and they enthusiastically said , "Yes!" each time. So I knew everything I played could be heard. It was not at all difficult to be heard. I had to move a harp, stand, bench, and music from one site to another- quite a distance- and this meant loading and unloading things into and out of my car and getting all ready to play again. Susan played at our wedding on October 1, 2010 and did such an amazing job. The weather didn't hold out for us, and it was an outside wedding, but that didn't stop her from playing such lovely music. Prior to our day, she invited us to her home so we could hear some of her music, and were thrilled with her. Not only is she an amazing harpist, but she is also an amazing person. She knew who I was when I called to talk to her about details of my wedding prior to meeting me face to face. Susan learned a couple of songs (re-learned one from a long time ago!) that we requested for our wedding and was very nice about it. She showed up when she was supposed to, played her part, and was a pleasure to deal with all along the way. The music was lovely, enhancing the atmosphere before the ceremony and during it. Susan was excellent! When my husband and I met her the first time, at her place of residence, she was incredibly welcoming and warm. She took her time in getting to know us and discussing ideas for our particular wedding. We had requested that she play during the ceremony and cocktail hour and she even showed up early, the day of and began playing as our guests were arriving. Our wedding was held at Searles Castle in Windham NH, and the beautiful sound of Susan's Harp surely added a lovely essence to the magical scene.
