Nadia Pessoa is an award-winning harpist with more than 25 years of experience in providing the soundtrack to unforgettable events. As one D.C.'s most in-demand musicians, she has performed at the U.S. Capitol, State Department, The Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall, the area's leading hotels, and The White House. Nadia approaches each event with thoughtful and creative attention, and will personally help you select elegant music that is unique, memorable, and can accommodate any size of event and budget. Select event highlights: Featured harpist at the Meridian Ball, The Inaugural Ball at the Convention Center, where she performed onstage with Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett, Ford's Theatre's Gala at the U.S. Capitol, the Shakespeare Theatre's Harman Center for the Arts Gala at the National Building Museum, the Horatio Alger Association Awards, and various corporate and nonprofit galas at Washington National Cathedral. She served as the harpist for the White House Christmas Party in 2006. Nadia holds degrees from Indiana University and the University of Michigan, and has presented masterclasses at Louisiana State University, the Washington Conservatory of Music, Howard University, and NYU.
