Mary was kind, empathetic to the loss of my husband and professional. Her playing was delightful. She helped me choose a selection of Irish and other melodies. All present were well pleased and I received many positive comments about her skill as a harpist. Her Prelude music before the Funeral Mass was just what I wanted to sooth and uplift our friends and family. She is experienced with the liturgy and could have played the entire Mass as well but we had family musicians who filled that role. They enjoyed meeting with her and appreciated her contribution to this important morning.

Mary King is a delight. She's entertaining, plays beautifully, and brings a sense of joy to her events. These are reasons enough to recommend her, but add in how easy she is to work with, and you've got no reason to not book Mary King.

Mary is a lovely woman who played for my mother in laws funeral luncheon . The Celtic Harp was magnificent and brought such calming beauty to our reception. I have had the pleasure of asking Mary King to play her beautiful harp at two family events.. The first one being a post-nuptial brunch and the second at a baby shower. Both times, Mary arrived ahead of schedule and was ready to perform as soon as the guests started to arrive. Although she has an extensive song list, I always left the song selection up to her and was always pleased. She is professional, friendly, and a wonderful musician who will add class to your event!

Ms. King was very professional and made the entire process very easy. She was very helpful when selecting music and provided many songs to select from. Her music added such a special touch to the ceremony and it was absolutely beautiful. Ms. King arrived early to play as guests were arriving and stayed until the last guest left the ceremony room. Mary is so pleasant and a joy to work with! She plays beautifully and has a great selection of music to chose from. She plays modern music, as well as Irish songs. Where do we start!!! From the beginning Mary was very professional. From emails to phone calls, Mary was prompt and always easy to get in touch with. Arrived approx 1 hr before scheduled time to set up and begin playing.
I could not thank her enough for making our ceremony so memorable for us and for the many guests that complemented her on making the ceremony extra special with her music.

Mary was an absolute joy and pleasure to work with. She was extremely sweet, professional, and overly accomodating to make sure our event was exactly the way we wanted it. She played beautifully, and made the atmosphere for our celebration very calm, soothing and overly enjoyable! I highly recommend her to anyone looking to have a harpist at an event! You will be very satisfied and not at all have to worry about anything! She went out of her way to ask what exactly we wanted to hear, making sure she was there ahead of time and playing before anyone arrived, and took no breaks for her duration of the event! Overall I give her 5 plus stars!
