The night was perfect. The weather the food and most of all the music. It was spot on background music for a welcome party for out of town guests at the house of blues patio. Shan’s music helped liven up the party and added a special touch. Unfortunately, as hostess I didn’t have time to relax and listen but I would definitely have Shan play again at another event!

Shan was great. We hired him for a wedding reception at the beach and he played wonderfully. He was highly accommodating, and knew what music to play to make it a magic night. He came on time and played throughout the night with little to no breaks. Would highly recommend him.

This guy is top shelf stuff! He asked what I wanted & delivered exactly that. Arrived promptly, dressed appropriately, and acted professionally.
I'm sure he can be a real star and center of attention when he wants to be, but in this situation blended right into the wedding and made my daughter and her new husband feel special. I'd hire him again in a heart beat. Booking, payment, & setup were all a breeze.

Shan Kenner was fabulous to work with leading up to and at our event. Shan kept in communication with me assuring his timely arrival and, in fact, arrived quite early releaving my anxiety of hiring a performer from NY for our CT event.
His personable and approachable demeanor was a delight for all and, as I understand it, our guests (who come from many walks of life) spoke of how perfect the performance choice was for this event.....and many with Shan's business card in hand.
If you want a performer who not only has great talent, but will also give you the sense of security in the planning process, I recommend hiring Shan Kenner.

Shan was excellent, he arrived promptly when he said he would and played in the style we had requested. We sent him a few songs that we like and he worked them into his performance along with several others that we loved. He did a great job of helping to set the mood of the event exactly right, I would recommend him to everyone, very talented guitarist.

Shan is extremely talented and has a very nice presence when performing. His song choices were perfect for my party and he was very polite to everyone. Shan even called the day before to confirm the gig because there had been a snow storm. Not only did he trek all through the snow, but he was on time and ready to roll! I am very satisfied with my choice to hire Shan. He definately made the party!

Shan was very professional, courteous and played wonderfully!! He was timely, played for two hours non-stop and is truly a very talented and gifted musician. We hired Shan Kenner to play at our cocktail hour at the Highlands Country Club in Garrison, NY. Shan was early which worked out because some of our guests arrived early and Shan played an extra half hour to entertain the early guests. We are truly glad to have had Shan play at our cocktail hour, the music was amazing, the guests loved it and we couldn't be happier! Thanks Shan!!

Shan had the perfect sensibility for our birthday dinner venue. There is a warm soulful quality to his music (Flamenco Brazilian Classical Guitarist, & jazz guitarist) and he clearly takes pleasure in the artistry of the moment. We would definitely enjoy the opportunity to hear him play again.
