My husband and I are very pleased with their performance. We had them set up during dinner which we planned and they were very courteous. We will recommend them to our family and friends and we will definitely use them again. We had a blast at our wedding and Michael and Keith helped greatly. They also handled music requests very well and came to us with every question or concern and we appreciate that. Thanks again Tri-State Dj we enjoyed it!!!

We had a GREAT time with Paul & Melissa and their guests and were more than happy to accomodate them in any way that we could! Receptions seem to have a tendency to have events change from the way that they were originally planned and we work with our clients to make sure their reception goes just the way THEY want. We wish Paul & Melissa many, many happy years together!!! We will definitely be there for them again if they ever need our services for some other event!

They came and set up very quickly. Were very friendly and accomodating. The DJ kept the music going and Karaoke selection was large. I would recommend them and use them again.

A very professional, accommodating DJ for an After Prom. The High School kids really enjoyed his dance music and loved participating in karaoke. The selection of songs was enormous. Michael was not the most enthusiastic announcer/speaker, which was the only slight drawback. However, the overall experience was quite good and I would recommend him for any event.

Michael was great. He communicated well leading up to the event, and was able to adapt to a last minute change. He was able to keep the event going with great music, and allowed our staff team access to the mic whenever we needed it. Great DJ service, and great to work with.

Keith was really friendly and played a variety of music. The crowd was not very receptive, but he kept the mood friendly and relaxed. He came on time, was well set up and prepared, and was easy to talk to. Thank you for the great experience!

Very professional nice guy with the best rates around!! I was so caught up in the moment of our wedding night that I did not realize that things were skipped until it was too late. We were supposed to have prayer before the meal then my husbands son was going to do a best man speech,neither were done!! Also had a request to play a song dedication to my husbands father that passed and he didn't play it until near the end when most people were gone. We are pretty easy going people so none of it ruined our night. Still rate my experience as good because we wanted fair rates and we got it.

Thank you for the compliments! I'm sorry that a few announcements didn't go quite as you had hoped. However, I have in my notes that the persons chosen to do their announcements didn't approach my table at any time ready to begin. I normally won't just call up a person up unexpectedly to make their announcements. I find that many people are thrown off by this and not ready. So, I must go with the flow of the event. I am always accessible at all times and ready to proceed. Any special dedications that are not set to do at a certain time are then done during the evening. I try to time them when the most people are there. Sometimes that is not possible to do.

I was overall pleased with the professionalism of Tri-State DJ service. Every time I spoke to Michael over the phone about my musical selections he always was very curtious and accommodating. Even though I was sending correspondents up to the last minute Michael gladly met my request in a timely fashion. The reception was a huge success, everyone had fun! The only negative thing I would say is that I was kind of disappointed that I did not receive the videography for the special dances of the wedding reception, which was supposed to be included in the package. Other than that they did an awesome job at my wedding.

Therefore, I am now implementing that in order for clients to receive the complimentary Special Dances DVD or Digital Photographs CD that they will be required to give us written notice. I was given a list of a package deal and loved all of it. After my wedding I did not get the DVD that was offered in my package, they said I did not request it. I did not realize that when I said I wanted everything in the package I had to go through and itemize every little thing I actually wanted. I feel they horribly communicated this to me and they dropped that ball. I now have no video of my reception.
As far as working with me, they did fine. They were not all that entertaining or anything special. Over all I am highly dissapointed and would not recomend this service to anyone.

The bride did not read the original quote that was sent to her. She also had 8 months to tell of us all the options that she wanted. Never was it mentioned to us by the bride that she wanted the Special Dance DVD. This is not a standard option that is done at each event. We must be notified in advance! We would have loved to have included it in with her package. Once again, we stress in our quotes, not once but twice, that advance notification is required. It is also stated on our website. If we continue to get negative feedback on something that cleary isn't our fault, then we may be forced to stop offering this great complimentary item to future clients.

Huge disappointment! Great offer, lowest price and very professional via email. But Michael met us in a flannel and trucker hat. He took few notes, seemed distracted. Gave him details on who to announce, a must play list, and told him no group dance songs. They added two people to the announcement list without asking, played some kind of shuffle dance and there were at least 4 songs on the must play list never heard. His partner, the MC kept asking us what should come next, it had already been discussed with M. Package included 20 photos & video of first dance. 147 pics, 145 were horrible. Not one pic or video of our first dance. Very sorry we hired them.

First of all, I don't even own a trucker hat! :) I will just simply state the facts in this matter. Over 3 pages of notes were taken, impossible to do if distracted. Announcements were made EXACTLY as planned on Itinerary Sheet. Dinner Music, Must Play List & No Play List were ALL played as requested. Other requests from their guests were of high importance to client. We never ASK what should come next, we simply inquire if the client is ready to begin. Digital Photographs CD or Special Dance DVD are COMPLIMENTARY items and advance notification IS required or will NOT be included in package. There is NO charge for these items and are of digital quality.
